This book is a great tool in learning the art of fiddling. It covers many different styles with a discography that definitely helps understand the genre as it is executed by different players. This book covers every level of play from beginner to advanced and can be an asset to any players' play list.

This book is a wealth of tunes for new and seasoned fiddlers. Includes most popular and some very interesting little known pieces. It's a must have for bluegrass, old time, and Celtic fiddlers.

This book is very helpful. It not only provides you with the music but also background information and where you can find recordings of each of the 500 songs in the book. The only downside to the book is that it is just what it is a fiddler's "fakebook," thus the music isn't as detailed as some (i.e. instead of having four pages for the Orange Blossom Special, it is covered in half a page). I believe it's worth it!
