  American Girls Series: Felicity
Review created: 02/24/08

My daughter has most of the American Girls' collection and this was an affordable choice for me and the the product was in good condition. I apprectiated the price mostly and she has wanted to complete her set of sets. It seems to me that the series is more spendy than others, but it has dolls and more as well.

I was very pleased with the condition and your hospitality.

Pros:
Vivid history, good detail, beautiful illustrations

Cons:
It's a long collection, so you have to be committed to finishing the book.

I bought this collection for my daughter when we started reading chapter books. I was afraid it would be too much for her at 5 1/2 but she loved reading about Felicity every night! It goes through an introduction of Felicity and many stories in her life. Her family is wholesome and the image of a close family that we often lack today. It was a great way for her to learn about life in that era. It also introduces Ben who lives with her family and is conflicted over his loyalty to Felicitys father and his loyalty to his country. Much is mentioned about the pre-civil war hostilities and talks...
