Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998, DVD)

This is simply one of the best movies ever made. If you like Depp and Del Toro, you can't miss this. If you like trippy movies that concentrate more on a wild ride that the main characters take than on any real plot, this is for you!

Its interesting to see a movie throught the eyes of a heavy drug abuser. Very interesting. A little hard to follow, but its worth a watch.

Movie appeared on time in great condition and I will look forward to getting more movies from here in the future.

The movie was really strange (typical Johnny Depp lol) but I thought it was funny! The DVD was in excellent shape. I needed this for my Johnny Depp collection and I have no complaints!

This movie is by far one of the most original and unique films I've ever seen. Depp and Del Toro put on a excellent performance. The visual effects are stunning and the cinematography is cutting edge. Definitely a must-have for any recreational drug-user or anyone who is a fan of Johnny Depp.

My brother wanted this movie so I bought it for him. I was told it was based on a true story and decided to watch it and was captivated throughout the entire movie. Action packed.

I haven't read the book, or seen the movie before I purchased it. I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas. That's all he wanted.
We saw the movie the next day, and I still play it every day while he's at school. I've grown a liking to the movie quickly. I believe Johnny Depp played one of my favorite rolls of all his movies in this one. Every sequence was believable. The story was very well written, and I am glad I got it.

I bought it for my son for his birthday. I had never seen it as I was never a fan of Hunter Thompson and it turns out I was right. Poor movie and a waste of talent. There just wasn't much entertainment in watching Johnny Depp get wasted non stop. I could not finish watching it. I knew this going in and it was not for me so no big deal.

I loved this movie. I also love chicken. I like it fried, baked, skewered, boiled, smoked, bar-b-qued and even raw. One time I was eating chicken, the neighbor's kid came over and let me know that my dog was out. I thought that I fixed that hole so he couldn't get out. If Tom Cruise would come out of the closet this easy, he would be much happier.

This is an excellent movie from my younger days, and brought back some memories of my past. If you liked 'Fast times and Ridgemont High' or any of the Cheech & Chong movies..it's a must for you to see. You'll really like it.

well what the hell can i say, you buy the ticket you take the ride! hunter thompson is an amazing journalist. he literaly made himself the center of all storys he wrote. well. isnt that what gonzo is all about??

It's an odd one! This movie is perfect for anyone who's had to "clean up their act." While the visual aspects of the movie are a little out-of-this-world, they are hilarious. Johnny Depp is amazing in this movie. While the role is not a real stretch for anyone's acting skills, his portrayal of Hunter S. Thomson, aka "Raoul Duke" is dead-on. Benicio del Toro's character is so ridiculously funny, too. It's great for nostalgia.
