Family Guy (Playstation 2)

I liked the idea of a Family Guy video game, but the graphics were quite disappointing. The characters look like they were drawn or created with a very old program - there were rough edges to the characters' faces where there should have been more rounded features. However, the character voices are the same ones from the TV series. The complexity of the individual games (Stewie's satellite dish, Brian's escape, etc.) progressed as you went along. Overall, I think it is a good game for mature audiences - it is not appropriate for children under 17 (IMHO).

It's like being part of the real tv type game. I bought it because my boyfriend loves family guy and stewie. :)

very fun game if u watch the show youwould like the game its funny fun to play it even has the same humur you could only know and love if you watched the show.

This game is a game you play when you have ran out of games to play. It passes the time. When you are bored to death.....lol

Once again I had high expectations for a game and I was wrong once again! This game you play as the characters from the Hit TV Show 'Family Guy'. There was almost no interaction, and the graphics where lame as a horse with a broken leg. I will give it this tho, there where some parts where I could not stop laughing, you know, its so stupid you have to laugh. When I bought it I sat down and played it non stop and I cannot tell you how long it took but it was far under 24 hours when I finished the game. I would not recomend this game to anybody.

I liked the price along with the feedback from the seller. The game was packaged with care. Communication with the seller was very professional. The game is fun and entertaining, the whole family has enjoyed playing it.

This game makes games like the simpsons crazy taxi seem amazing. The visuals and gameplay are so bad it's unbearable.

The game is too short and too boring. You play as Stewie, Brian, and Peter. With Stewie, you just shoot things, with Brian, you just walk around, and with Peter, you just punch things. Don't get me wrong, the game has it's funny moments. But they are just not good enough to overcome the multiple glitches, boring storyline, and repetitive levels. Don't buy it.

I went against what the other reviews said about this game being just ok and also going fast. Yep, they were right. The game had its moments, but overall it wasn't nearly as funny as the show and I would just rather watch the show than play this game.

IT'S A BIT OH A CHALLENGING GAME IT'S OK. I WOULD SAY IF U LIKE FAMILY GUY U SHOULD LIKE THIS GAME. IF U CAN FIND USED AND CHEAP BUY IT.

Family Guy

I was bored, rented Family Guy, beat it in 5 hours, wanted to stop playing after about 35 minutes but had nothing to do.

The game is good for the first scenes of each character... other than Stewie (who gets to do more than one thing) the rest of the game is far too repetitive to be good.

Brian does nothing but walk around collecting things but can't be seen. It's boring and annoying.

Peter walks around kicking and punching people (but can't do both, it's either or, which is stupid as well)

Stewie gets to use a gun, mind control, slide on his belly, surf, etc... if it wasn't for Stewies part in this game I would've taken in it back right away.

The cut scenes are sometimes funny but aren't explained to you so you just hope you get it right, and the game glitches.

this is great for any family guy viewer. just like the show you can be peter, stewie, and brian. Plus you can be Peters's other friends. you just hvae to play it to find out who.

The game is a okay game, It keeps my 2 little ones going, However I would have like to know, It was a copy and NOT a reg. game I purchased, A copy! Isn't that Against the Law to copy these? PLUS the seller never leaves feedback!

It was just a bunch of nonsense with a repeating game play/ stories
You play as Brian then you play as Peter then you play as Stewie
All alternating like three different games with in a game
It sounds good, but it's terrible Peter's part sucked and was just Peter beating up kids and old children for no reason...Brian's part was horrendous and i absolutely despised playing his section as It's just Brian finding clues and hiding in shadows while trying not to pee while Joe Swanson is looking for him all while Brian is trying to find the real father of Mr. Pewtershmidt's dog's babies...Stewies part is halfway decent Bertram (Stewie's brother from the episode where Stewie shrunk himself to prevent Lois from having another baby) escaped from being one of Peter's seaman at the sperm donating clinic and is born and trying to take over the world...you have to stop him and his army of clones with upgradeable weapons which is all the only good part of this game...If they made this game where you can play each one of these characters separate it would be Average, but since you have to play Brian's horrendous character every third time this game pretty much sucked...Stewey's part was enjoyable, fun and hilarious, but i only recommend this game to the most die hard Family Guy aficionado...Take it from me I love the TV show bought this game the week it cam out played and beat it and am now selling it on eBay to try and make half my wasted money back

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas. We both love the show and after playing the simpsonns game, thought Family Guy would be just as good. The game itself was fun and challenging, but ended up being such a short game that you feel cheated when you win it.

price it was a good deal and i did not have to drive 30 mins to get the game thats if they would have even had it in stock it is always in stock on ebay thanks again for helping me with some of my other collections as well derek

I had an issue of not receiving the game. I emailed the seller and he responded immediately with the tracking number. The issue was solved it was sent to my parents house. I bought this game for my fiance for Christmas because he loves the family guy. The shipping and handling was really cheap and what I ended up paying for the game was way below the cost in the store. My fiance plays the game almost every night and loves it!!

I think the game was overall good. As i said in the title you will laugh at the minigames cutscenes and gameplay and you definately cry once or twice. Some of peter and Brian`s levels can be frustrating and even Stewie has some trouble in the last level. but honest to god family guy is a great game(but a short one).

I too bought the Family Guy game expecting it to be just like the tv show but, boy i was wrong. The graphics are good and the story line is good but, the gameplay is lame.
Some levels are entirely to hard and the cutscene games are way too short. Stewie's movements are limited to shooting, Peter's movements are limited to fighting and poor ole Brian doesn't get to anything but walk around.
The game does have glitches where you sometimes have to restart the PS2 because a charactor disappears and 2K games website doesn't offer any help.
Overall for me the game was not worth the money spent or the time spent waiting for its release. I am glad to have Family Guy in my collect although it isn't a great but, because it is Family Guy.
I would suggest that anyone wanting the game wait until the price goes down before buying it.

I rented this game because I love watching family guy any chance I can and find it hilarious. I thought the game would bring the same thing, which it did a little, but nothing like the show. The gameplay was horrible, only 3 story lines and really only 4 things you do in the whole game. You reach some levels of the game were you just get frustrated, such as the one with stewie were you had to keep opening up doors to find your way out. I got so frustrated with it I had to look it up online and it still took me a few times to make the final jump. Beating up people with Peter was funny, but one level was enough for me, after that it was just boring. I would recommend renting it just for the humor, but don't expect to get any good gameplay.
