Let's Pretend you like Family Guy a Second...

Face it, the reason you are buying this game is because you enjoy Family Guy. You enjoy cutscenes, you enjoy quagmire humping things, you enjoy Joe being physically challenged, and most of all, you like the antics of the Griffen Family.
The game is broken into three play styles. As Peter, you have only a handful of different moves to fight and destroy everything that comes onto the screen. As Brian you sneak through and around a number of different environments that have different challenges, but the idea is the same - avoid being seen by anyone, and resist the urge to mark your territory, drink or hit on women. Stewies game are mostly a single camera shootout against multiple enemies, with a few puzzles and a couple vehicle-type levels.
Overview of Gameplay: Peter's levels are repeatetive and you will look forward to getting them out of the way. Brian's levels are a fun exercise of recognizing and maneuvering through sometimes tricky walk-paths. Stewie's levels are the most most fun, because honestly, how can you not enjoy vaporizing toddlers with a lazer and sliding through veins on a path to Peter's testicles?
The Real reason you will enjoy this game are the numerous references to the show, and experiencing even more of that same Seth McFarland humor. You get to play the cutscenes as minigames, and you will meet most of the best character's the show has introduced to us.
Summary: While the gameplay is only fair, and in the case of Peter's levels, repeatetive, the content and humor of the game make up for it if you are a fan of the show. Thus, the 4 rating is based on Entertainment Value, and not overall playability.
