Hilarious movie, two thumbs up. It's like having a really long family guy episode...that you can watch....on your PSP. Probably in my top ten films of all time. Peter is just as dumb as ever, brian just as sarcastic, and Stewie still the evil baby that everyone loves. Some people complain that it's just as funny as the show...but heck the show is hilarious! So who cares. Definetly a must see even if you don't watch family guy that much.

The best and funniest Family Guy movie made so far. Has what you would expect in the Family Guy TV show. Good lengthy time.

ZeN Presents Family Guy : The Rated R Version
Review created: 10/10/05

Pros:
A Wild and Funny Ride

Cons:
Not Very Special compared to The T.V. Show

Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, is a straight to DVD movie, based on a 30 min. cartoon comedy t.v. series. This adaptation is nothing close to being as good as "a regular movie", but it is worth watching. Nothing new, but if you are a fan of the television show, then you will surely get a healthy dose of the "nothing is out of line" type comedy. The only difference is that in this movie, you will find more raunchiness than found in your typical rated R movie. Not to mention a bag full of foul language. So it is for certain not for those who are quick to become offended. .

The Untold Story That No One Else Can Compare
Review created: 10/01/05

Pros:
Excellent humor and jokes, flashbacks and originality

Cons:
The way that the movie finished seemed rushed and uninteresting

Every controversy or news headline that has occurred over the last couple of years, a brilliantly sarcastic and random show named Family Guy has released its own touch on it. Political absurdity, pop celebrities, race and even minor things such as gas and toilet humor are all hysterical in the essence of the Griffins and their wild counterparts and neighbors. The family of the juvenile Chris, angsty and ignored Meg, and the indescribably wild, vile yet still inexplicably babyish and wondering Stewie all get their own spotlight and whenever the show is handed over to them; they normally take...

  Run, Stewie, RUN!!

Pros:
Funny, Silly, Offensive, Three times the Family Guy

Cons:
Doesn't really stand out from the TV show

Plot This is like watching a 90-minute episode of Family Guy, a cartoon about a simple family in Rhode Island that somehow go on wacky and crazy adventures. This is actually three separate episodes that are blended together into one, as one correctly transitions into the other. All three episodes are about Stewie (the baby of the family, who's technological genius is only overshadowed by his lust for power). Since this is a DVD they can get away with more than on regular TV. There's no nudity (aww!) well no more nudity than the show normally has, but there is swearing (yay!). The content of...

Disapointing, although still a good movie

Pros:
Pretty funny, voice acting, animation, plot

Cons:
Not funny enough, barely differs from the show

I m a fan of Family Guy. I m not obsessed with it or anything, but it probably is my second favourite show on TV right now. That s why when I heard a movie was coming out of it, I really wanted to see it. I was slightly dismayed when I heard that the movie was going straight to DVD, because even though this is hardly ever true, I think of them as too bad to been shown in the movie theatres. I still wanted to see it though, hoping it might rank up with, or at least be close to, South Park! Bigger, Longer

Straight-To-DVD Exploitation Meets "Family Guy" With "The Stewie Griffin Story!"
Review created: 12/04/07
by: wlswarts -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
FUNNY, Good commentary track, Decent story, Generally worthwhile for fans

Cons:
Comparatively pricey

"Family Guy" does very little that exploits its fan base in a negative way. Sure, the producers released "The Freakin' Sweet Collection" (reviewed at: http://www.epinions.com/content_167779405444 ) with a single scene reinserted and a commentary track that true fans of the series simply needed to have, but generally they respect the fans just enough to not take them for every dollar they possibly can. When the show was working toward returning to television with its fourth season (reviewed at: http://www.epinions.com/content_223249272452 ), "Family Guy" released a straight-to-DVD production..
