Fable: The Lost Chapters (Xbox)

I would like to know why you people who are bidding on this game are paying more the $20 for it. Fable: The Lost Chapters is retailed at $20 at any store you go to or shop at online. And yes I know the difference between Fable and Fable: The lost Chapters. I don't know if you people noticed, but Fable is a Platinum Hits game. Which means that it retails at $20 or less. Stop bidding over $20 for it!

This is a great little RPG for a great price. I like the fact that you do not pick a specific class, but instead get to use fighter, archer and mage skills throughout the game. And the ability to customize your character with tattoos, etc. is a nice touch.

ME SAD. WHY ME SAD you ask. well got fable. has xbox 360 logo on it.. but someone should have mentioned you cant play old xbox games without a hard drive.. SO i couldnt play this game.. oh freegin well.. not like i missed anything.. these game makers have been slacking latley anyways.. i can make a better game with a peice of moldy cheese.. they actually get paid to make this junk.

This review is about POOR customer service, it's not about how the item was/is. Since I never recieved it yet. 7 days I contact seller asking if item was sent, 9 days I contacted seller asking if item was sent. 11 days I leave negitive feedback. the seller never answered ANY of my inquiries. Period. A simple 'yes' it was mailed on ??.. I still haven't recieved the game or recieved any answers about 'if it was sent'.

This is a very good game, not very old, but a classic in my eyes and those I know who have played it.

The games ok its almost like the old one. The only difference is that it has some new missions and other things but its not really much. I bought it thinking it would be very different but it didnt turn out like that... If you havnt played the first fable i would recpomend buyin this game but if you already have the first one or played it dont get it.

I love this game. I don't really like role-playing games like Elder Scrolls or Runescape. But this game is alot of fun. What I like the most is that you can go through the game again and do things different, like be evil instead of good, and it changes the way things happen. I've played Fable on xBox for about a year now, and with Fable: The Lost Chapters there are more spells to master, more maps to explore ( including a Bordello ! ) and more monsters to kill! I wish I lived in Albion.

I could not find this game, (the Lost Chapters version) anywhere here in Ohio. My husband loves this game and I cannot get him to get off the xbox when he's playing it. Great game play and ability to choose your own path.

Any decision you make decides how your character looks throughout the game. It is a great game and is very replayable.

This is an fantastic intro game for people who haven't been introduced to the modern "video game" scene. Plays well, lots of detail, great graphics, etc. Highly recomended.

I bought the first Fable game and enjoyed it so much that I bought The Lost Chapters.I played it and sold it a month later.I enjoyed it so much that I bought it again about four months later.
If you like Medeivel RPG's you will really like this one. It is very similar to Oblivion lV but not quite as long. The graphics were great and so are the sound effects.
You will travel to quite a few different locations and they all look great. You can either travel by foot and fight different enemies on the way to a location or you can teleport whenever available.
There are several towns in the game with a lot of stores to buy weapons etc. In each town you will meet quite a few different people and you will be able to communicate with all of them.
Besides buying items in the stores, you will also be able to buy and trade with Traders that are walking along the pathways from town to town.You will buy and trade a huge selection of weapons and clothing before you finish the game.
You can also find different treasure chests with different items in each one of them. Some of the chests won't open unless you have a certain amount of keys to open it. You will have to find all of these keys throughout the game.
You will also be able to use a spade to dig up certain items and also use a fishing pole to catch fish or useful items out of lakes, ponds and streams of water.You can also find valuable items behind what they call Demon Doors, but first you will have to do something to get the doors to open.
There are quite a few different side quests along with your main quests that you will have to complete and the game should last for quite awhile.
This game can be played on the Xbox 360 system and the only thing I didn't like about it was that it froze up every now and then and you would have to shut it off and start over from your last save. So I would recommend that you saved your game after you acquired an important item or completed a certain task. There are times when the game will automatically save.
I highly recommend this game to anyone that likes RPG's and I can't wait until the next Fable game comes out in November of 2008

Well, let's begin with that the game actually played in 480p, unlike the first Fable, which I had several copies of and would never play the picture in 480p. I had to go into my Xbox settings and shut off 480p mode in order to play the game. Which is fine except I had to go change it every time I wanted to play another game in 480p, which looks better on a hi-def TV, so of course I wanted it. Then of course this game is actually a Full game, whereas the first Fable left me wondering What The? at the end. The first Fable just left you hanging at the end with all kinds of new stuff and areas you know you should have been able to get to, and no way to enjoy any of it. But here that is rectified with you being able to go more places, new enemies, and well, is just more complete. It is exactly how the game should have been in the first place. It is really fun to play. The evil/good thing is pretty cool in this game compared to most games where the game is exactly the same but you are supposed to be good or evil. Plus, I do not really like the Xbox. I finally just bought one about 4 months ago, and already sold it after I played Halo 2 and was dissapointed in that also. I hear the 360 is okay except for the hardware failures but I do not see what everyone liked about microsoft's first console except that the crappy games looked beautiful. But Fable: The Lost Chapters is a great game if you have not played it yet.

This game was almost twice the size of the original it seems. I bought this because I had beat the original but lost it and felt like playing it again. For the price I think it's worth it, especially if you have never played the original Fable. The downside is that like the original, there are sometimes painfully detailed precursor videos to a few of the quests that just make them too easy. There's more than just new quests though which is nice because you don't have to sit there grinding away at the storyline. A fun game and a good buy.

If it weren't M-rated, it'd be 1 of the best RPGs ever! I enjoy it most because everything you do affects your appearance.

I liked the fact that you can choose to be good or evil and that every thing you do effects the outcome of the game. You choose your destiny. There is nothing I didn't like about this game. It is an all around good game.
