Basic car seat - no problems
Very satisfied with this car seat - I had no problem making the necessary adjustments my daughter needed as she grew from a 2 year old to 4 year old. Another reviewer had difficulty with the strap - I did not experience this problem.
•When your child weighs 20-40 pounds… Strap him/her in with the internal adjustable 5 point harness. This harness includes a 2-position buckle strap across the chest and an easy to fasten part that clips between the legs - We had a $200 Eddie Bauer seat in our other car – thanks Grandma – it was a nightmare to fasten by comparison to this one!
•When your child weighs 30-80 pounds.. He/She will complain about being too big for the internal child restraint. Not because it doesn't fit but because he/she will see friends with big kid seats - No problem this seat has “BeltTrac access“, a belt-positioning system which allows your big kid to fasten their seat belt like Mom and Dad – this is what is generally referred to as a booster seat.
•Soft, comfortable padding – according to the manufacturer. It is not as soft as the other $200 Eddie Bauer seat in my other car – thanks again Grandma)
•Built-in armrests (your 1 year old won’t use them, your two year old will love them!)
•This car seat sells for $59.99 to $89.99 when new.
•Up to a few days ago this car seat was installed in our Volvo - you know this family is serious about safety! :)

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR SEAT! The right strap does not adjust from the top leaving the chest clip resting snugly on your child's throat as he/she grows - less than ideal from a safety perspective!
When we contacted Evenflo, they did not feel this was a problem. My daughter is only 2 years old an 31 lbs and we are going to have to buy a new seat. This is the opposite of a child safety seat - it will actually hurt your child.
