Evenflo Embrace™ 5 - Infant Car Seat

I was very pleased as a first time buyer. I never expected to get something in such good condition and as promptly as i did! I always thought ebay was a way to screw people over but these people showed me otherwise and if they can ever meet my needs again I would do it in a heartbeat without even thinking. Not only was it there immediately but the carseat was in excellent gondition and extremely clean......I just wanna say thank you....it helped very much!!!! And sorry I didnt review this earlier but my computer crashed.

I PURCHASED THE TRAVEL SYSTEM FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND CHECKED THE RECALL INFORMATION MYSELF. THIS ITEM IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. YES THE FIRST 3 NUMBERS ARE THE SAME AS ALOT THAT WERE RECALLED BUT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED AND AM SELLING ON EBAY IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. I WOULD NOT HAVE PUT MY GRANDDAUGHTER IN AN ITEM THAT WAS NOT SAFE.

This carseat has been recalled! Nobody should be using it! If you want more information on it you should check out the official cps website for recalls. This is potentially deadly in the worst situation.

I bought this car seat to match a stroller that I had bought. This car seat was very difficult to find in stores and online.

I must say it's easy to install the base and even easier to take the seat in and out. Our son was very comfortable in the seat. In fact, he slept in it in our bedroom a few of those harder nights. It seemed as though it fit his body perfectly and put him right to sleep! And, most importantly, we both felt that he was very safe and secure in this seat.

This is by far the best car seat on the market. It is lightweight and so comfy.
It snaps easily into the base and onto most strollers especially evenflo. The recalls are before 4/07 so if you bought a seat after that, you don't have to worry. I had this installed by a professional car seat installer and they said it was one of the better infant seats. And so affordable!!!

I just love my evenflo embrace. It is soooo easy to carry and use. It is lightweight and I love the Z handle. It snaps into and out of the base easily and onto any evenflo stroller as well as some others like Graco too to make it a travel system. The padding is thick and soft and my baby always falls right to sleep. Don't panic on the recall. It is for models made prior to April 2004 and it was because the handle slipped and they make a repair kit for it now. The car seat itself is rated one of the highest for safety in crash tests. A must have!!! I love it!!!

Evenflo embrace infant car seat is one of the best infant carriers on the market. The patented Z shaped handled make it comfortable and easy for any parent to carry. It easily snaps in and out of it's base as well as any evenflo strollers with a tray. There is lots of padding to hug your little one in comfort and the straps are very easy to adjust. It is also much lighter than most infant car seats. The recalls are prior to April 2006 and affect only the safety of the handle, not the function or safety of the car seat itself. A must have for your baby registry.

Consequence:
WHEN THIS HAPPENS, AN INFANT INSIDE THE CARRIER CAN FALL TO THE GROUND AND SUFFER SERIOUS INJURIES.
Remedy:
