Evenflo Discovery - Midland Blue Infant Car Seat

I have used this seat with 2 outta 4 of my childeren and have never had any trouble at all with it.I cant rate this as Excellent because i have not really used any other carseat for a long time to say it is a *****. I seen the other ladys review about the car seat and that is terrible that she lost 2 childeren. But, i think all carseats are not 100% going to work all the time. Just look into what you are buying. I like this seat because it is easy to use. I previously had another brand that was very difficult to strap the base into the car. I like the 5 point harness and tether system. Most of all it is economically and safe.

This is a operationally decent product, but the noise the mechanism makes when you lock the harness in place is enough for me to want a few Excedrin, and forget about the baby, because awake or asleep, it will frighten them and we all know that means a good 30 minutes of hysterics. Perhaps because I have twins...makes me dislike this model more so. Double the love and double the screaming!

This is a quite decent, easily manageable seat that fits nicely in a small car, too. The noise, though, when locking it in or locking back the handle is rather loud and will often startle a sleeping baby awake. The reviewer who "lost two babies" and is pointing a finger at Consumer Reports should be made aware of the fact that Consumer Reports retracted its poor review and recall request of the Discovery three weeks earlier, citing severely flawed testing methods.
