Eric Clapton - Crossroads Guitar Festival (2004, DVD)

I wrote a complaint I have not received my video. No message or anything. I wrote a complaint thru paypal so far I have not heard yet.

If you are a fan at all of the blues, than this dvd is must have for your collection. The music is incredible and the behind the scene interviews with the various stars was very informative. I highly receommend it to anyone who enjoys good music.

Over all I like this DVD; there some great tracks such as "Rock Me Baby" (EC, BB, Buddy, Jimmie Vaughn), that put you in another world. There too many stars to mention them all, but the ZZ Top finish is great.
I've rated this as "good" rather than "excellent", because there some so-so filler groups or musicians that I just skip. That's my personal taste however, you may like them. A half dozen or so great cuts make this worth it. I don't think any Clapton fan or guitar fan would be disappointed.

love guitars? Then this is a must have. No matter what your style it is here.Sound in woderful and the camera work brings you up close and personal with evey Les Paul,Strat and Taylor. This 2 disc set is awsome. The artists are the greats from R&B and a touch of pop and CW thrown in. It's 3-1/2 hours of pure joyful entertainment. I will watch this many times in the years to come and will always enjoy it. I will definitely check out the succeeding years of Crossroads Festival DVD's. I don't expect any of them will surpass this one. It has got to be the granddaddy of them all.

So many talented artists all brought together by Eric Clapton, who also performs. Blast from the past with sprinkles of newer performers. There is lots and lots of music and some commentary, very well blended in and out from one to another. Scenes are colorful but yet real. Slowhand is the best and is accompanied more of the best!

The Crossroads Guitar Festival (2004, DVD)it is an awsome event that came from a great idea from the Master Eric Clapton. This guitar festival, included a lot of great musicians from the world, beside guitar players. The artist that join Clapton in this festival are all awsome, From John Mayer (who has a very decent guitar skills to Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, and closes with a legendary band. ZZ Top.

Great DVD. Great Music. A must have for Eric Clapton fans. I loved this DVD, the festival has several music legends playing guitar with Eric Clapton. You will not be disappointed with this DVD.

Great quality DVD and a lot of fun to watch. How often to we get to see all of these greats on one stage.

This DVD was bought for another person who was unable to find it in any store. He was very greatful that we found it and he likes the movie a lot!

Good... excellent condition... shipping came in acceptable time... the product was in working condition and it was well packed. however, the shipping of two weeks is kinda long... that would be my only very tiny small complain...

This is a great DVD if you love Clapton and guitar players in general. The festival touches just about all of the bases, from Delta blues to country to bluegrass and back. There is some great guitar playing at this festival and it looks like Clapton invited most of the great guitar players to attend. Highly recommended.

Fine musicians in a informal setting. I would have liked to see more of the lesser known artists such as David Hidalgo among others though! The East indian music was interesting but too much time given to this subject. I didnt see any up and coming artists such as Joe Bonamassa ,, Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Tommy Castro . This was a genuine disappointment to me and others in my group . I really dont know the circumstances behind this concert so in all fairness ,, it may not have been possible to book them . But I very much would have liked to have seen Johnny Winters included in the group ,,, I think hes still around isnt he?? Hard to tell since you never see him or any of the afore mentioned on TV or movies . Its too bad we dont get to view more of these events with truly excellent musicians ,, fine music etc . instead of the garbage we are force-fed in the media these days. In the future , I will buy these kind of DVD's whenever I can and hope the next will all be of longer run time than this last one!! Kudos to whoever put this together . D J Lewis

My budding teenage musicians love this DVD! They will play along with the guitar greats and mimic the sounds. If you like "old school" rock & blues you will enjoy watching the legends play live with Eric Clapton.

I like blues music and Eric Clapton. I didn't want to buy new so I looked to Ebay. I think you can find real value in used material.

If you like great guitar players, you love this album. Eric Clapton is ad this best along with Buddy guy and all the others. Buy it.

Very Good Concert. As a musician, I enjoyed the guitar player on this DVD. The music is great. It is wonderful to see Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray and BB King on the same stage playing there hearts out together. Joe Walsh plays a great solo with James Taylor. I never knew James Taylor could sing Blues with such GREAT FEELING. John Mayer is very good. Carlos Santana plays with Eric. Very good. Vince Gil amazed me with his talent. And the Closing act on this 2 DVD Set is ZZ Top. I highly recommend this DVD to Blues, no any music lovers...

I can't believe I missed this show in '04! It was in Dallas and I lived in Houston at the time. I was watching PBS one afternoon and there was Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton playing together on the same stage at the same time and I was blown away! And then there's James Taylor and Joe Walsh doing a couple of #s together! It's like if only Hendrix were here we could all just die and be in Heaven!! I can't recommend this highly enough to anyone who loves Rock-n-Roll, and especially guitar! I rarely indorse anything, but "BUY IT! It's a DVD set you'll watch over & over. And by the way, Clapton is putting on his second Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago on July 28, 2007! I've got my tickets! Hope to see ya there!

I bought this for my husband. He saw it on a show and if you donated like $150.00 you would get this DVD. I found it for him at a very reasonable price. He was so thrilled. Why pay these ridiculous prices when you can get such a great deal throught E-Bay.

The only thing better than watching this DVD, was being there in person. So many years of talent in one concert. Plus it was for a very good cause.

So much talent on these 2 Discs. It will make you want to take guitar lessons and start a band allover again.
