This not one of Elvis' best albums it was originally released as a budget album on Camden. It is essential for some of his songs unless you want those songs on compliation releases, which I don't. However, the artwork is first rate and has a great shot of Elvis on the cover. I decided to buy the CD because it's at a fair price and enables me to mirror my LP collection on CD by having as many original releases as possible.
très rare réédition de cette album de 1969 que j'avais en K7 il y a plus de 25 ans CD remasterisé avec un son exceptionnel 2006 et sa voix magique... neuf titres flaming star wonderful world all i needed was the rain too much monkey business ( with the jordanaires ) the yellow rose a texas she's a machine do the vegas tiger man ( live NBC TV 1968 )
This is a very nice collection of Elvis songs. I just love Flaming Star, it makes me feel good. There are also some of his lesser known songs on this CD. Great songs like Night Life, Tiger Man and All I Needed Was The Rain are forgotten songs that really shows Elvis' different styles. One thing keeps this CD from getting 5 stars, it's way too short. Only 9 tracks is way too little. Yes, it's a rerelease from the original LP, but the LP was also too short. Buy it!
