Despite of the product being mint to excellent, as advertized, the CD was heavily worn and scratched. The booklet was missing, the box was old and dirty.
I really like this cd, I am a Elvis fan and I treasure this cd. I love the songs and the live preformance. I would recommend this cd for any Elvis fan I thought the price and the presentation of this cd was very good.
I am a huge Elvis fan, have been my whole life. Elvis In Concert is his last performances on stage and also they filmed him and came out with "Elvis In Concert" on CBS Show. This CD is awesome and also sad. You hear the fans comments about how wonderful he is - then towards the end - his father Vernon Presley thanks the fans for their support after his son's death. A mixture of happiness and sadness. Elvis will forever be in his fans hearts.
Well, this is defenately not one of his best concerts, but it really is worth having. Not in his physical best, but his voice never left him. A great performance by the King. Listen to it... feel his power. As Elvis said, "may God bless you, adios". Thank you, thank you very much...
Enjoy the Concert Cds brings back great memories of the 2 times we were able to enjoy his concerts in person. Even our parents enjoyed going to his concerts. A great preformer, we all love his music

Pros: Best and worst Elvis album of all his albums.
Cons: none
I have been an Elvis Presley fan for many years. I was a fan when you were afraid to admit you were a fan because of all the controversy connected with Elvis. I can remember buying anything that Elvis was designed by Elvis promoters, everything from Elvis bracelets to Elvis underwear. I had to hide everything so that my father didn't see that I spent money on his stuff because back then you didn't dare let your parents see things that were connected to Elvis. I have over 45 of his albums and many books, video tapes, and 45s. I cherish all the things that I have and wouldn't part with any of...

The Final Curtain

Pros: Renditions of "Hurt", "My Way" and "Its Now or Never"
Cons: Elvis didn't get the chance to either have another go or pull some of the tracks on the album.
This CD represents the last known recordings by Elvis Presley. The tracks were recorded in concert on the 19th and 20th of June 1977 for the purposes of a CBS television special and include material from all periods in his recording career including 50 s and 60 s rock n roll, ballads, country, blues, gospel and rock opera. The original 1977 album and CBS Special attracted a lot of media criticism at the time of their release. Notwithstanding, both were a commercial success. In the case of the album, it reached number 5 on Billboard s Top LP s chart during its 17 week run and was certified...

A Sad Epitaph

Pros: My Way. The people responsible are dead.
Cons: Sad. Poorly recorded. Poor performance.
1977. Punk was beginning to rage. "Classic Rock" was played on Top 40 radio. And Elvis was dying. Some would say his death began as soon as he entered the military, with brief remissions around the 68 comeback special and his early 70s concerts. By the time 1977 rolled around it became clear in retrospect that Elvis didn't seem to have much interest in his life. A constant string of concert dates had sapped the life and joy out of him and turned him into the joke of 1000 Elvis impersonators. Two months prior to his death, somebody, most likely his manager, Colonel Parker and his leech of a...

The End Was Near

Pros: Elvis at his best?
Cons: Elvis at his worst?
The first time I purchased Elvis In Concert was about 20 years ago on a cassette. Through the years I replaced it a few times and now I own it on CD. A lot of negative reviews came off this album and for the most part I can understand but then again I can't. This album portrayed Elvis at his very best vocally. Not on all the numbers on the album but quite a few. It was easy to tell what "charged" Elvis when it came to doing his very best on songs. Songs like Hurt, My Way, You Gave Me a Mountain, How Great Thou Art, It's Now or Never, were vocal "crowd pleasers". For the most part these songs..
