Elvis: 30 #1 Hits - Presley, Elvis (CD 2002)

The first problem i had with this collection, was the fact that a big hunk o love was a (non released version), then, i went and looked at some of my chart info,,, some of the songs not listed, at #1, by billboard,,, were # 1s, by the other top ten charts????? So, who really can say how many #1s, elvis really had????? Keep in mind,,, billboard had led zeppelin 4, at #2, for 4 weeks, while the other 3 major chart folks, had them at #1, for 4 weeks???? also,, to suite the beatle fans,,, they redid there charts, at a time when there song something, and its flip side, were at the bottom, of the top ten,,,the next week,, they had the top spot,, even though,, a week before,, the single, had peaked,, and was falling out, of the top ten????? That aside,, its a good deal,,,, but i prefer, the world wide gold hits set, much more,,hits, and not limited to what billboard claims, anybody remember payola??????

Item was BRAND NEW. EXCELLENT PRICE. Could not pass up. Fast safe shipping. Price was so much cheaper than buying at a store or CD club.

What's not to like about Elvis! This CD has the best titles and they all sound great too. Not one song I would take off and it has the Las Vegas song on it also."A little less talk .. a lot more action.

Excellent mix of Elvis hits. Great product. Love to listen to cds on trips and this one will defintely go along. Always looking for greatest hits cds and this is one of the best.

i just like elvis i'm 27 and plan on keepin the man and his music alive he put heart and soul in to everything he did and a great performer he was and i don't think any one will ever do what he did the way he did it that's why i got this cd and u sould get one too long live the king ( elvis ) t.c.b

I love old tunes by Elvis. This album has many of his old stuff. The sound quality is pretty good. I'd buy this album again.

This is the only Elvis disc you will ever need. It's like a history lesson that you want to learn. It was a great trip. Good memories of good times.

I wasn't really into Elvis as a teen, but as I heard more and more of his music
I started to become a fan.
When I wanted to buy my first Elvis CD this one was the I searched for first.
This one has the song "In The Ghetto" which was a favorite of mine I also like
his version of "Wooden Heart" also here along with 28 other # 1 hits
There is also a 31st song, which I beleive was a studio recording never
publically released.
This is indeed the # 1 choice for true Elvis fans.

There are so many great songs by Elvis,so I am sure it is difficult to do a CD like this..I liked the songs for this, though....

I bought this CD after having owned the "Second to None" CD for about 2 years now and playing the heck out of it. The "Second..." CD is the sequel to the "30 #1 Hits", and, well, it's better than the first one. The "30 #1 Hits" are mostly the overplayed Elvis stuff that you've probably heard more than enough of for the rest of your lifetime. (Well, my stepfather is an Elvis freak - so I was forced to listen to it growing up.) The tracks I most enjoy are the ones which were #1 on the European charts and weren't played as much back in the USA. Especially a little number Elvis delivers in German - you wonder if that was the ballad he sung Priscilla to woo her into his arms and out of her country. The #1 hits from his later years are just the real jewels on here for me - Hunk of Burnin' Love, In The Ghetto, Way Down, Suspicious Minds. And on the "Second..." CD, they're even more fun - Moody Blue, Ol' Kentucky Rain, Battle Hymn of the Republic. The liner notes on "30..." are interesting, since they give little blurbs on each recording individually. You get a timeline, through this, of Elvis's life and his progression and, then, regression. Man, I miss The King.

This is a great CD. The sound quality is great. There are a lot of old songs and there are songs from the 60's and 70's. My favorirte song is American Trilogy. This is the version where Elvis sings with the Stamps at the beginning of the song. This is a must for any Elvis fan.

I wanted a CD with great Elvis songs and I finally found it! I have bought many others and they do not even come close. Great CD for a great price!

I bought this cd for my daughter. It has an unbelievable number of songs on it for the money-and they are all Elvis' number on hits on one cd. You couldnt ask for a better cd. I have yet to find another cd with that number of songs it that isnt a double disc.

I was interested in this cd just to have, and didnt want to spend the money the store was asking, so I took a chance and bought it here. I am very happy and will buy from the seller again, the cd arrived just a few days after my payment.

If you are a true Elvis fan, you will definitely love this album. If you would just like more exposure to "The King's" music, this is the perfect opportunity. This is a great Elvis starter kit at the very least.

I, however, did not know Elvis had so many...softer rock songs. If you don't know many Elvis songs, and you're looking for more songs like "Jailhouse Rock," and "Viva Las Vegas," you may be a bit disappointed. I was also disappointed by the fact that "Viva Las Vegas" wasn't even included in these hits. Oh, well. Best track, in my opinion, was definitely the latest/last song "Little Less Conversation."

Overall, 30 #1 Hits is itself a hit. Check it out.

many of Elvis' big hits. pretty good cd, but does leave out some good Elvis hits. over all a good coverage of some of Elvis' hits. Elvis had far too many hits to include them all on one cd. this cd gives good overal glimps of the hits.

THE GOOD: new cd, case not cracked, what was described I got- good communication pleasure to buy from!

THE BAD: nothing really, shipping could have been a touch cheaper but dont mind the little extra when im saving money on the cd itself.

This CD was excellent. It now makes me want to travel to Memphis to see and hear Graceland. I would highly recommend this CD to others who might like an intro to Elvis.

I bought this cd for my 7 year old nephew because he didn't know who Elvis was. I told him I never wanted to hear that again. I also bought him a Beetles cd.
He loves it.

I really wanted this cd by Elvis and i looked in the record shops and they wanted a lot more money for it i am well satisfied with shopping on e-bay you can find what you want and most of the time a lot less money thank you Jim

My kids got into Elvis and have had a blast learning and singing these songs around the house and car. These are definately some of his greatest.

One thing that i love about elvis musics is because it is his music and his voice and no one can make it or comprehend to be tie with his style of music. But however That was not the only reason i chosed his music but because of his strange quest for GOD in a such preson who is the KING OF ROCK N ROLL.
