This was a great product. I bought it for my 10 year old daughter. It was brand new, never used and worked perfectly. I can't remember if it was factory sealed or not but either way, it was an excellent product.

I love this CD!! I purchased this CD after I purchased Monkey Business by Black Eyed Peas. I didn't realize that Elephunk was their first album. Almost every song is a hit. If you like hip-hop/jazz/you will love this CD. Makes you want to get up and dance!

It would be much better if this was a Q and A format. Anyway, i bought this as a Christmas present and I like that it didn't break my bank just to buy a nice CD from not too long ago

This CD is great! Just before they were so full of themselves. You can tell they were working hard on their sound and it was working. I love their next one as well. They are very talented musicians and you can tell they like to be around each other. Phunk on!!!!

Elephunk is an Excellent album, It features some of the best songs by the Black Eyed Peas, including: "Hey Mama", "Where is the Love?", and "Let's Get Retarded". I only decided to buy it because I owned a previous copy of "Elephunk", of which I lost, so I decided to purchase another copy. Yeah, it's worth buying twice. You will not be dissapointed!!

Is there any cornbread with the black eyed peas?
Review created: 03/01/05

Pros:
Several popular songs I really like.

Cons:
I discovered at least one filler track.

Normally when one thinks of black eye peas there is usually a nice slice of cornbread that goes along with it, well this has been the case for most of the southern styled restaurants I ve frequented. However, The Black Eye Peas is the diverse group that released their hit album Elephunk. Like the CD s unique cover and the album designed disc, this 13 track collection of songs has as much variety as a chef s receipt for black eye peas. One consistent theme that runs through out the group s music is diversity and unity, which plays well for a society divided and strained with its various isms ..

I Am The Elephant, Goo Goo G'Joob

Pros:
Fergie's vocals; some clever rhymes; definitely funky.

Cons:
I've had enough of Justin Timberlake (and haven't we all?).

The Main Idea In the middle of 2003, riding the steam of the smash first single, the Black Eyed Peas released Elephunk, their third effort and first with former Wild Orchid singer Stacey "Fergie" Ferguson. The Peas were labeled sell-outs with the release of this record, since it relies more on dance jams and poppy melodies to sell itself, but sometimes selling out can be a good thing. Elephunk is fun and infectious and doesn't take itself too seriously, which is a nice change in hip-hop. I admit that, other than "Request Line," I'm not familiar with the BEP's earlier material, but I do know...

Elephucked Up: The Peas Give Hip-Hop A Black Eye

Pros:
"Where Is The Love" is an awesome single.

Cons:
The rest of the album is awesome too...awesomely BAD!!

A little back history here. I've actually had a copy of Black Eyed Peas' "Elephunk" for quite some time now. Their first two albums were on the better side of average, and I applauded the first single "Where Is The Love", a good old-fashioned protest song with thoughtful lyrics. In a world where popular hip-hop now rivals pop music for lyrical vapidity, it was nice to hear some meaningful content. And I wasn't terribly mortified by the inclusion of Justin Timberlake on the song. So, almost a year after it's release, I finally sat down and listened to the album. What I discovered was an album..

Elephunk - A Nice Lead-Single cannot save these Black Eyed Peas from mediocrity...

Pros:
Positive Hip-Hop Music, Some Introspection, Some Decent Production, <b>"Where is the Love"</b>

Cons:
Wanna-be Party Tracks, Lack of Subject Matter, Some Bad Production, Some Nonsensical Tracks, Stupid

Im not going to sit here and pretend like i know EVERYTHING there is to know about the Black Eyed Peas. I do know that their last two albums were successful on a mainstream level and that the underground accepted them for giving us positive, thought-provoking hip-hop. I do know that they have a nice cultish following of loyal fans. I do know that they are composed of four members: three emcees and a singer, and that they have just recently released Elephunk, their new album which im reviewing right now. I also know that the lead-single is getting a nice dose of radio, MTV, and MTV2 play,...

  Sounds like Elecrunk to me....

Pros:
The Final 3 songs

Cons:
NO subject matter whatsoever from tracks #1-11

I m sure when Where is the Love came blazing on the radio last fall a whole bunch of people were thinking who the hell are these guys? Indeed, not many people (myself included) knew who the Black Eyed Peas were before Where is the Love came out. But, the song was a smash hit, it cultivated in some strong sales for Elephunk, and when it was all said and done, they even got to perform in the Grammys. But sadly, the album is disappointing. Where is the Love turned out to be the only classic on the album. I expected some social commentary and introspection out of the Peas. But, that is not what..
