I did prefer to have my twins side-by-side. I never liked having one behind the other. It's like letting one see things first and having one hidden. I think this is a good quality stroller with a name you can trust, BUT I do not feel it is fair to the babies to be pushed with one behind the other.
I love the room and storage of this stroller, It is a bit heavy but so are other twin strollers I have tried. I think the one handed closing is wonderful. this stroller will outlast my children
I have the single version of this stroller and love it. Thought the double would also be great, I find it very difficult to stear and the storage is difficult to use due to nonbending bar across the bottom. I feel eddie bauer has disappointed me.
This is a great item to use with two children. All four wheels lock and if unlocked will make the stroller difficult to handle. It is easy to exchange seating arrangements and lots of room for storage. My husband loved the fact the height was good for him so it did not put a strain on his back when pushing the stroller. Many of your strollers are short and hard on tall people to handle. Highly recommend this item.
I BOUGHT THIS STROLLER ONLINE TRUSTING THE QUALITY OF THE NAME. I HAVE THE SINGLE STOLLER/CAR SEAT COMBO. MY DAUGHTER AND SON ARE 12 MO APART, I CAN ONLY LEAVE THE HOUSE IF I HAVE THE DOUBLE STROLLER. IT IS VERY HEAVY TO LOAD AND TAKES UP A LITTLE MORE ROOM IN THE BACK OF OUR SUV THAN OUR SINGLE VERSION. MY CAR SEAT FITS THE FRONT OR BACK SEAT BAR JUST FINE. I USE THE BACK FOR THE CARSEAT MOST OF THE TIME. I WILL TRADE THIS IN FOR A LIGHTER VERSION AS SOON AS WINTER IS OVER AND WON'T NEED TO USE THE INFANT CAR SEAT. THIS IS A GREAT STOLLER FOR LONG DAY TRIPS, BUT NOT QUICK TRIPS TO THE DR OR THE MALL ECT...
I purchased this stroller for my now 7 month old and 2 year old daughters. I chose this particular stroller mainly because I wanted the girls to be able to face each other and keep each other entertained. I loved the color and trusted the brand, however, once I strolled around the neighborhood (which is primarily flat), I was quite disappointed. I had to put LOTS of effort in maneuvering it to turn. The girls seem to be comfortable and the basket is very spacious, however, I would NOT recommend this stroller to any of my friends/family. Not only is it a pain to maneuver, it is also quite heavy to lift into an SUV.
Steering is sometimes difficult due to it's length. The front seat turns around easily so the seats can face each other. This is a great feature. Opening and closing is very easy but the size does make it a little cumbersome.
Hi, I am the new kid on the block at ebay. I have a twin stroller too, from Eddie Baurer. I loved the look!!! But, I also have to agree! My stroller is currently sitting in the closet, too!! I have tried to sell it, and it been somewhat a no go. I also found it to be very hard to navigate. Some parts on the stroller seemed to not respond anymore. I got that fixed. It still a beautiful Item. I am waiting to sell it. I would be selling it soon!! I agree it does take some effort!!!
My mom gave us the money when we had our 2nd child to buy a "nice double stroller. I got this one at Shopko. We loved it at the store and test drove it around... but forgot to add the weight of a 3yr old and a newborn. It did not fit either of our 2 infant carseats, and is extreemly heavy and hard to manuver. I could barely fit it into the back of my large SUV. Sure it's luxurious looking, but man is it a no go for malls and trips out. I would have to take the baby out and lay the back seat flat and snap in the "cradle" sides due to the car seat not fitting. I also couldn't stear it! I would end up going to the front and picking up the bar that held my 3yr old in to move around corners! Then my arms would be killing me when we got home, not to mention my back!!! Now that we are on our 3rd baby, I am desperate to get rid of it! I have had a number of friends and neighbors give it back after test runs, stating the same problem. So I was unable to sell it, and now am offering it for free on Craigs List just to get it out of my garage. Hopefully my next choice will work out! One good point is that it did have alot of storage space and did fully recline in back. Front umbrella is easily removed and has cup holders and storage for all three positions. I hope this helps. TEST DRIVE WITH YOUR KIDS AND GEAR IN STROLLERS!!!!
We have a single Eddie Bauer travel system and LOVE it so when I had my 2nd baby I just had to have this stroller since my girls are only 21 months apart. We tried it a couple of times and since have retired it to the garage. It is so hard to use. It does not turn very easy if there is any weight to the front seat at all. Even my 6ft 200 pound husband has to put some effort into it. I am so disappointed with this product and do not recommend. We have went back to using the single for the baby and letting my 2 year old walk whenever possible.I feel I wasted my money on this product.
This is a hugh stroller that is very heavy and bulky. When you are shopping it is very hard to make it around the store. My children are 21 months apart so the older one is of course heavier and if she is in it gets very off balanced. I would not recommend this stroller to anyone.
We have it and love it easy to fold and store. Sturdy moves well. Kids have plenty of room and like the way you can pop a seat off and face each other! Very sturdy kind of hard to fold!
I love this item!! It is one of the few on the market that the front seat can turn and face rear so the kids can face each other. I found it very easy to use and manuvers superiorly! I would recommend tis to anyone and have to several people.
I was given this stroller as a gift and we have only used it a couple of times. While the storage basket is huge and the name is trustworthy, it's not very convenient. The stroller is extremely heavy and the front seat only reclines a bit, so that the child sitting in the front is flopped over if he/she falls asleep. IT seemed like my son (in the back) was always falling over to the side. It's just not a particulary well-thought product. I don't really recommend this stroller.
