I got this book several years ago and I think its great!~ It helps you fine tune what you eat. It helps you to make the right choices when there is a variety of foods available. SOME FOODS MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD AND SOME FOODS MAKE YOU FEEL BAD DEPENDING ON YOUR BLOOD TYPE. I for example am Type O Blood and its better for me to eat Cherries than it is to eat Strawberries. Dairy and Bread type foods are not for me either. Following this is a great way to be your fittest and also to lose excess weight!
Its a must have if you have digestion problems and can't figure out what is causing them. Its divided into the blood types so you don't have to read the whole book, just your blood type. But if you are like me, after you read yours, you will want to read the sections with your friends and relatives blood types also.
This book also helps you to understand that some foods may be BENEICAL to some people and BAD for others......its the blood type that makes the difference!

Absolutely love this book. There is so much information that I never knew about my rare blood type. This book is especially helpful if you are experiencing stomach problems. You can't go wrong by adding this to your library.......it fits every blood type.
I decided to purchase it as a "buy it now" because after several attempts to bit at different auctions I never won . Seller started at 0.99 and even if you place 5.00 bit anyway somebody will outbid you for 0.05 . In this particular item the price was good the shipping was good and all together I ended paying less without hassle.
I was introduced to this book by a friend who had originally utilized the "eat right" program for an immune system disorder. I was amazed by her stories of "healing" her disorder,and in addition she had found, without strenuos effort, that by following some of the guidelines and recommendations for your blood type, she had lost over 40 lbs.and has kept it off for over 2 years and she has never felt healthier! Now I've been following the books guidelines accoriding to my blood type and feel much better, and more energetic. Looking forward to the end results. Highly recomend this book to anyone who wants just wants to improve their life on a healthier path.
This seems like a good book, but for a family that has multiple blood types it is a little more difficult. What I found to work though is to put a list on the fridge of the goods and bads of each blood type. Lets hope it works.
Very educational and full of info on eating the correct foods for your blood type.It is very suprising that so many people are eating foods that are making the tired, sick, and or open for illness. This book will walk you through every thing that is balance with your blood type and HOW GREAT IT WORKS AND HOW GREAT YOU WILL FEEL!!!!!!!!
Don't know if I buy all of this, but some of it I have seen in my own experiences and that of my family. Some doesn't seem to make sense, and I -really- wish he would give some kind of (ANY kind of) scientific support to it. Keep an open mind. Who knows....
I have been on this diet off and on for a long time and bought this copy for a friend who wants to try it. Can't say I have lost a lot of weight :( but I sure feel a lot better when I stick to the foods for my type. The biggest difficulty in staying on the diet is finding prepared foods that don't have the "avoid" foods in them. For me that is corn products. If you are pretty much willing to cook only from scratch, this is a diet that will help you feel better.
A great book for anyone that is curious about eatting to their blood type. Very easy to read and great lists of foods that are "good" and "toxic" for you blood type!!! Highly recommended!!!
Great Book with Insights into why we may process the foods we eat differently from others with different blood types. Includes an easy-to-understand list of Good Foods, Neutral Foods, and Bad Foods and some ideas on how to proceed armed with the knowledge given! Highly interesting when dealing with illnesses and trying to come up with the least invasive healing plan.
A friend recommended it to me because of gastric problems my husband and I had she felt were diet related. I read it and both my husband and I(Type A blood each) walked out of the pages of the book. We knew that nightshades (tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, potatoes, etc.)caused us gastric problems, but there it was, in the book, in print confirming it! No allopath had EVER suggested cutting back on them. A lessening of the above, resulted in less symptoms, first time in YEARS. Cannot recommend the book more highly.

This book is a miracle for me. It has helped me not to have to go on medication. It simply helps me know what to eat. I have had Liver problems The doctor has not been able to figure out why. I am not a heavy drinker nor do I have diabetes. My liver has been enlarged for about 5 years and my liver enzymes have been high also. When I started to use this diet immediately my enzymes started to come down much to the delight of my doctor. She asked me what I was doing. I showed her the book and she said she loves it and agrees with everything that was in there. Also I found that my Liver size has decreased. It only swells when I eat something that is on my avoid list in the book. I encourage anyone who has chronic health problems to get this book it really helps.
A co-worker referred this book to me and I've enjoy it thoroughly. As an asthma and allergy sufferer, I know of the external things that can trigger attacks and bronchial problems for me, such as mown grass, but this book highlighted several foods that have gluten lectins that slows down metabolism and agglutinating lectins which attacks our immune system. I've altered my diet over the last 6 weeks which not only has me feeling better, but I've lost 12 pounds by only changing what I eat. This is a must read.

I like the book for the simple fact that i am 26 and over weight about 50lbs. The book gives great discreption on what to eat and not to eat. It explanes where your blood type comes from.
I have found this book to be very helpful in determining the foods that have caused me and other members in our family health problems and weakened our immune systems.I have been following the recommendations for my blood type which is an A negative for approx.2 months now and have reached my ideal weight and have found my energy level has gone up considerably.I highly recommend thisbook for anyone who is always feeling bad and exhausted.

BOB's Book to Optimal Health, Apply what he says to your life and many of the so called old age symptoms will disappear. For Example: I had little black floaters in front of my eyes.MY Dr.said It was an aging process thing. Dr. Bob Said, YOU have a Vitamin A Deficiency. He said to eat 5 baby carrots everyday. A friend told me about this "diet" and I decided to try it. It is awesome! The book goes into detail about Dr. D'Adamo's research as well as his fathers, who originally came upon the blood type-diet relation. In the beginning of the book D'Adamo describes how the different blood types came to be and thus why each needs a different diet to optimize our health. He divides food into three categories, highly beneficial (acts like medicine), neutral (acts like food), and avoid (acts like poison), the goal is to eventually phase out the avoid foods. Having minor health problems myself (acid-reflux), this book also helped explain why and when I tracked my symptoms they justified his explanation. It is a little hard to follow, I admit, but like any other lifestyle change once I was used to the changes they became second nature. There are no pills or gimmicks, D'Adamo just teaches you what foods are best for your blood type. I have lost 8 pounds this month and have gotten a handle on my acid-reflux so I no longer have to take medication. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to lose weight!
I think that it is an awesome book. I purchased it because I wanted to start eating healthier and I thought that it was a smart way of eating according to your digestive system. I can tell a difference in my energy level. I also can tell according to book what foods are good for me I feel better eating them than the one's that aren't. I highly recommend this book. I thought about purchasing this book for a long time. I found mine at a yard sale and after reviewing it with my family, we made the choice to try it. Personally, I have found that eliminating wheat and corn from my diet is a real life saver. My allergies are next to nothing. I've also included weight training 3 times a week. We shall see in a few more months how I really feel. I ordered this book for my sister.
