Busta Returns with the end on his mind....."E.L.E."

Pros: mostly excellent lyrics, lots of good production, many standout tracks.
Cons: some failed experiments, some poor guests, some weaker tracks.
I don't know if I mentioned this in the past, but since his 1996 debut album "The Coming", Busta Rhymes had been loudly and consistantly predicting the end of the world by the year 2000. With each album he released he began to speak more on it. This would normally be found on the "intro's" and "outro's" of his albums. We come to 1998, the year he released hi third full length LP titled "Extinction Level Event". "E.L.E." for short. You can see that Busta is getting more excited about his prediction by this point in time, as the cover of "E.L.E" appears to be a picture of land engulfed in...

Busta Rhymes gives you some more.

Pros: When Busta is good, he's great
Cons: Almost all the collaboration tracks are skip-worthy.
Busta Rhymes is the breath of fresh air in the oft-stale world that is hip-hop. With "Extinction Level Event," he solidifies his spot as one of rap's superstars, impressive considering the transient nature of the industry these days. Most artists tend to bust onto the scene with a powerful debut, run out of ideas, and fade into the pop-culture dustbin in the back of our heads, but with every album Busta just keeps getting better. While typically goofy as only Busta can be, "ELE" is also a rather dark album, with Busta predicting a global apocalypse that never fails to put you just a little...

This is how Busta thinks of the Millenium.

Pros: Beats and musical special effects, continued hard, explosive lyrics, good talent help
Cons: Lyrics could use some honing
Ever since I heard "Woo-Hah" on MTV three years ago, I've been a fan of Busta Rhymes and his innotive style of rap music. His music still has a gangsta edge, with the heavy swearing and indirect references to life on the street. Busta's first album was a treat, with numerous awesome songs. This album is Busta's third, following "When Disaster Strikes," and it continues to put forth Busta's pessimistic view on the way things are. While this album packed with many good songs, it's definitely not as impressive as his first effort. That said, I think it does surpass his second effort quite nicely.

Busta Does it Again!

Pros: Awesome beats, great lyrics and a wide range of guest artists.
Cons: No real cons.
Busta Rhymes does it again with his latest album "E.L.E.". I bought this album because I had purchased his first 2 albums and loved the beats and rhymes he put down. Although I don't think this album is as good as "When Disaster Strikes", it is quite good. Busta brings in the Flipmode squad and together they throw down some beautiful beats and lyrics. Busta is nothing like any other hip-hop artist. This is the alternative to your average rap album. I would surely recommend it to everyone who is a fan of rap.

Busta Rhymes is ill on the mic

Pros: fast rapping, good beats, cd flows nicely
Cons: a little redundancy, repetition
My friend bought this album for me for my birthday. I think that it is quite a good album. It has fast beats slow ones and can he ever rap! Him and Mystikal are the fastest rappers I've ever heard. The album has some good songs like, E.L.E. and Rise. Track 11 and Gimme Some More are also excellent songs. I luv his fast rapping style. I also liked track 18 with Ozzy. It was a clever song. I think some of the songs are a little annoying and get redundant. He uses the same rhymes a lot too. But on the other hand, his lyrics have good content and his raps aren't all about typical money hungry...
