I liked the music on the CD---THAT IS THE CUTS THAT DID NOT SKIP AND ACTUALLY PLAYED. I was a bit dismayed when I could not hear all the selections. I think the band is out there...beyond the reach of many but for some it is on the spot, interesting, and mundane plus.

I don't usually listen to newer bands from this genre, but I do like this CD. It is not anything groundbreaking, nor does it have real "staying power" for me, but it is definately a good set of songs. I would imagine this as a great CD for anyone who is a fan of modern rock.

Good albumI really enjoy when I pick up a CD and I am able to listen to every single track on it and enjoy every single track. This is a CD that is in my favorites for sure. Brilliant execution of rock and also slow styles. Guardian Angle is one of my favorite tracks on this album also. Basically, I can't wait for RJA to come out with another album and I will be one of the first to purchase it.

This album rocks. I love the whole thing. I originally bought the album for one song and to my surprise the whole album is awesome. It was definately worth the price for the album and I did not pay a lot for it through ebay (actually half.com). I give it an excellent review just for you, GO BUY IT.

This cd is amazing! I have fallen in love with this cd and all of the band members! THey have amazing tact as well as lyrics. I give this cd 3,546,032,135,403,213,540 thumbs up too bad I only have two hands. I recomend this band (and their cd and cds to come) to anyone who likes somewhat-scremo/rock/punk/post HxC/ emo music.

All the songs on the album are beautifully written, brilliantly played, and magnificently performed live as well as on the cd. I give this cd, as well as the band astounding applause.

I like Face Down, but once listening to the CD you can tell why it is the single. The rest of the CD is generic alt\emo, unfortunately aside from the single it is hard to distinguish this CD from the rest of the bands in their genre right now.

I Didn't think i would like more than a couple songs on this album when i decided to buy it but this Cd was put very well together, it caught me off surprize... To shorten this up... (Like - The cd is very good, way more than just the song _Face Down_ A++) (Dislike - If your not in-to Alternative/Emo Rock, this Cd is not for you. (I bought this Cd because of the fact that there were a couple of songs i heard and liked, when i got to listening the cd is when I really started to like it.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and their debut Don't You Fake It have quietly assailed me from "New Music" and "Find Them First" displays, near a mix of artists I'm enjoying and artists I'm loathing. So it was with some hesitance that I grabbed the album after hearing and moderately enjoying its lead single "Face Down." Ultimately, the results could not have been more mixed, with a paint-by-numbers pop-punk/screamo CD that's surprisingly tolerable, if nothing exceptional. It shouldn't take more than one track for any listener to embrace or discard this CD -- the opener "In Fate's Hands" has bits..

Quick pre-ramble: You know what bugs me more then most things? When bands put their lyrics in scribbled handwriting, dangling song fragments, and liberally sprinkle portions of them throughout their liner notes, without song titles or any such reference as to where the orphaned words belong. If you are going to put your lyrics on paper, put them, in readable form, on paper and, if not, litter the booklet with band info or pictures or things of the like. But don't bother with unreadable gibberish that is as much filler as anything that goes through the motions on your CD accompanying said...

I first heard Face Down, a track from the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' new CD on the radio. My first reaction was, "Hey, this is pretty good. I'll check these guys out." It's really not a bad song. This sets it apart from pretty much every other song on the album. It was an honest attempt, I think, to break into an increasingly popular genre, but I don't think this band is going to be able to run with the big boys!
