Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (Super Nintendo)

This is Ditty's Kong Quest. It is my favorite of the Donkey Kong Games, and for the Super Nintendo. I think the graphics and sound are even better then the DK games for the 64. I was glad to find it on eBay, and have enjoyed playing it with my grandkids.

This game is amazing! It has some of the best graphics for it's time, the gameplay is great, and the plot is good. Levels are really challenging, and the bosses get really hard to beat. Plus there are many more secrets to be found then the average life or banana. I recommend this to any age person. Great game.

This game is just as good as the original, if not better! Dixie adds the ability to float with her crazy hair and Diddy is still as nimble as ever. However, without Donkey Kong's weight, you wont be taking those big enemies down by jumping on them anymore. AWESOME TITLE!

I like the game because it reminded me of my youth and it's a fun game. But it doesn't save, and at one point it said that game was a bootleg copy. It was my first purchase on eBay, and it was horrible.

The last installment of the super mario franchise on super nintendo is a bit different than the traditional mario games you are used to playing. However it is just as entertaining as the others. This game is a must have for any one who is a mario fan. The levels can be difficult but in a fun way which is good because nobody likes a game that isnt somewhat challenging.

I think that donkey kong country two rocks! It has amazing game play, and super cool music! Why would you not want this game? It's classic

I bought these because super nintendo games are very hard to find,I can always find them on ebay, my grandson says they are great.

To put it bluntly, if you haven't played this game yet, you're not a true gamer. This is one of the key titles of the Super Nintendo which helped to revolutionize the side-scrolling genre. It's simply one of the best.

You play as Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong on a quest to save Donkey Kong from the evil K. Rool. You'll be taken through several environments, all of which are unique to this game. Simply put: there hasn't been a game like this since. And this includes the other Donkey Kong Country games which, although just as genius, are not clones of each other. In this game you'll play through pirate ships, volcanic caves, and, well, I don't want to spoil it for you. Needless to say, you'll be entertained from beginning till end. The mechanics work perfectly, the game is challenging where it needs to be, the soundtrack is very memorable and creative...the list goes on. If any game deserves the rating of "excellent," it is this game.

It's a classic, and it's a classic for a reason.

Pick this game up if you enjoy videogames at all--even if it requires you to buy a SNES (which, by the way, is still one of the greatest game consoles that has and ever will be made). Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is a must-have.

This game is one of the greatest side scrolling adventures of all time. With impressive animation and gameplay this should be a must buy for everyone. The level designs are also outstanding with their creativity and depth. there is also the hidden world that you must find kremcoins to enter and I don't know of anyone who has beaten it, it's a great side challenge if your up to it.

I purchased DK Country 2 because we use to have the game but it would no longer save the games. My kids have been nagging me for another one ever since the first one broke. Everyone enjoys playing this game including my computer/game challenged husband. This is a fun family game that everyone loves playing over and over.

A very fun second edition to the Donkey Kong series for Super Nintendo. It's a challanging game but not impossible with good control of character movement and creative levels and enemies (especially for SNES). Bonus levels and DK coins elongate what would otherwise be a very short game. Very decent two player co-opt mode (turn-based with one player controlling Diddy Kong and the other controlling Kitty Kong) is what prompted me to buy it again.

In the 90's my sister and I both bought the game system of super nintendo. We enjoyed the early Mario bros.video games, but when Super Mario, and the Donkey Kong video games came in, it was a whole new dimension. We enjoyed these until all the games became more a game of battles and difficult stategies. When nintendo 64 came in , we abandoned the games.
We are both in our sixies now, retired, and we found that we can now buy the snes system, and the games we enjoy again. I might add that things can be found cheaper now on eBay, and other people have fond memories of them also. My son,and his girlfriend, bought mine as a xmas gift for me. He is the one who always ended up getting me through some of the tough level, and still does.
We both live in Ohio, where we are in the winter cold now. It is enjoyable to be inside, and entertain ourselves with super nintendo, and fond memories of the past.

I bought this game for my son and he loved it. I received good service fast delivery and it was exactly what it was supposed to be and in great condition. I would buy from this seller again.

Paid asap no insurance was ever offered, so I did not buy it. Never got item Joann claimes she mailed it and has a recipt of postage. Which could be anything. I paid enough poastage to send piroty or she could have put insurance on it. She made money ont the postage and got to keep the 22.00 and some change. Thats ok cause I have recied that and then some. Buyers beware of people who charge alot to ship and say they send just reg. mail. You may get robbed. SO BUYER BEWARE OF THESE KIND OF SELLERS WHO MAKE THEIR MONEY THIS WAY> thanks

Great game, my apologies for the late review. The game is a great add on to other great titles I own for this genre and for this older system.

The second isn't my favorite because I always tend to favor the original game but this game is very awesome as well! I really love the new things you can do in the second one and it's still very much like the first one which I love. I highly recommend it!
