Die Hard: With a Vengeance - Jackson and Willis do it again!!!
Another terrorist story but the added buddy/buddy system adds a certain element that makes this Die Hard film one of my all-time favorite movies. The original Die Hard is the best in the film simply because it's the original, but Die Hard: With a Vengeance offers up the most bang for it's buck, and even non-action fans can enjoy it.
The terrorist squad in this film is my favorite by far, and the way he tries to stump Willis and Jackson is hilarious and adrenaline pumping.
Final Verdict:
5/5
Rent or Buy?: If you're not an action fan you'll still absolutely love this movie, if you are an action fan buy the box set today!

Pros:
Willis, Jackson, great action, well thought out plot
Cons:
the villain
Usually when a movie starts kicking out sequels, it tends to take away something from the original film in a series. But, then there are other times where the sequels are able to continue the original story, and they bring something new to a set of films. With the Die Hard franchise, I have found the latter to be true, as we are able to see the main character put into new and different situations. With the Die Hard series, we are actually able to enjoy the development of a particular character, while still being able to see the same qualities that makes him great. In this instance, we have...

Die Hard With a Vengeance - Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson Battled a Terrorist

Pros:
Entertaining action movie. Likable returning character.
Cons:
Could be upsetting to some viewers. No Holly.
I really enjoyed Die Hard and Die Hard 2: Die Harder and they are two of my favorite action movies. Since both of those movies were so popular and successful, it wasn't surprising that a third movie, Die Hard With a Vengeance, was made in 1995. A bomb went off in a department store in New York City. The bomber, Simon, called the police and demanded John McClane. Simon wanted to play a game with John and more bombs would go off around the city if John didn t participate. Zeus, a store owner in Harlem, got pulled into the situation when he tried to intervene in a situation that Simon had set up.

"Simon Says..." third Die Hard film is a sure-fire hit!

Pros:
Reunites director McTiernan with star Willis. Fine acting by Jackson and Irons.
Cons:
No Bonnie Bedelia? Drat!
Die Hard With a Vengeance reunites actor Bruce Willis and director John McTiernan for a second sequel to their 1988 mega-thriller Die Hard. Adapted from a non-Die Hard script titled Simon Says by screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh, this third chapter in the John McClane saga is more offbeat and just a bit darker than expected. Although it still follows the Die Hard formula - and how could it not? - of McClane versus formidable obstacles, Die Hard 3 wisely avoids the Christmas Crises scenarios from the first two films. Gone also (although the movie never really explains why) is Bonnie Bedelia's...

A Lean-N-Mean Ending

Pros:

Die Hard: With a Vengeance was one of the 90's most eagerly anticipated action movies, and depending on who you ask will decide whether this movie was a disappointment or an elation. Myself, I'm on the bench. It sees the return of John McTiernan as director, and tells a story that doesn't completely rip off the original. In it, the brother of Hans, bad guy in Die Hard 1 shows up in New York and plants a bomb, before forcing John McClane to play a sadistic cat and mouse game of Simon Ses. Bruce Willis returns as Detective McClane and gives a performance as charismatic, and human as ever. He...

Will McClane ever die?
Review created: 12/12/00
by: andaryl -- a member of Epinions
Pros:
Action-packed, Willis and Jackson are hilarious together
Cons:
How many endings does a movie need?
The third instalment of the Die Hard Trilogy, starts off with a bang, literally. Barely through the opening titles, a bomb explodes in a department store in New York. John McClane (Bruce Willis) is on suspension, but called back at the request of the bomber in order to run a series of riddles and games in order to stop more bombs going off. In the 3rd part McClane is an even bigger mess than the previous two. Boy wins girl, boy loses girl etc... At the moment he's separated and one step short of being a full blown alcoholic. The story manages to incorporate a white man hater in Samuel L....
