Die Hard Trilogy (2001, DVD)

This set (even though it doesn't include Live Free or Die Hard) is a great set to own due to the THX mastering of each of the titles. The THX mastering makes each title seem like an entirely different movie from it's original release. Due to the set not including part four, this set is reasonably priced for any budget.

These movies set the standard for all action/adventure films that followed. This collection is an excellent opportunity to follow the chracter and story developments.

Unfortunately I have to give a very, very negative review which I don't like to do. I placed the order November 25, 2007 more than adequate time for a Christmas gift. Also they charged my credit card on that date. I placed this order for the collector box DVD set because the price was very reasonable and I had done research and wanted this particular set because it consisted of the 6 disks vs the recent release box DVD set of only 4 disks. After waiting patiently for weeks I contacted the seller and was told "due to an inventory error there would be a delay but the item would ship within the week and did I want to wait or cancel the order"? By now it's the week before Christmas and too late to purchase it elsewhere without incurring expedited shipment fees. So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. While Christmas came and went, New Years came and went and yet again the same response that item would ship within week did I want to receive it or cancel for a refund. We'll I finally gave up and canceled my order. I am very very disappointed. I purchased the 3 DVDs series separately at Fred Meyer and didn't even look for boxed set of any release year because of the bad experience and I just wanted to get the promised Christmas gift to it's recipient. I'm Very very unhappy. I had also wanted to leave a feedback rating for this particular seller but wasn't able to locate that option because I canceled the order so I guess that's the way for the sellers to get around negative feedbacks, for the buyer to be forced basically to cancel the order then the buyer is the bad guy. So I was quite surprised to receive this request to leave a review on this particular item. At any rate I am disappointed.

P.s. I had another seller cancel on me, but they handled it quite differently. The seller called me personally, apologized and gave me the option of waiting for the back order date or canceling because it wouldn't be available until after Christmas, it was jewelry which I elected to cancel but I was very pleased with how they handled it by personally calling me immediately and respecting the fact that it was probably a Christmas gift. I will purchase jewelry from that different seller again because of how I was treated. I wasn't hung on a string and promise for almost 6 weeks.

What I liked is it is a Christmas gift. What I didn't like is the seller has not shipped the item yet.

Any action movie lover would love these movies. Bruce Willis is spactacular in these..best of his acting in my opinion. The first movie of this trilogy if by far the best of the three, but the last two are nothing to sneer at. I'm not exactly an action fanatic, being of the farer sex, but if you like action at all you should enjoy these titles.

I bought the Die Hard trilogy to add to my movie collection. I have not watched the movies again yet, as I have seen them before. I thought they were worthy of adding to my extensive collection of DVD's. The price of the movies was also an incentive to make the purchase. I have seen the collection available before, but at a much higher price.

Bidding for products and waiting to see if you are the one who wins the bids is fun too. The only draw backs are not being able to have it right away after making the purchase, or seeing the actual condition when purchasing a previously owned item.

I like the three movies and wanted them in my Dvd Library. All three movies were done with excellent quality.

I love the movie and I always enjoyed the actor who plays in it I can now watch them over and over I am glad that I got them for my collection
