Great addition to Diablo. In the expansion set you get to be Baal. Diablo's brother.
Enjoy more maps and more quests with your hero. Many many more upgrades to your weapons and armor.I had one hero with an armor defense of 950! It was awesome. Unfortunately my computer crashed and I lost it all.
This game is beatable too. I did beat Baal in Nightmare mode but it was a little more difficult than normal mode.
Great fun. I still enjoy playing it now and then. My teenage son actually enjoys the game a lot more than I do.

I have played this game for years now, it just needs another expansion. I like this game compared to those like world of warcraft because you dont have to pay a monthly fee to play a game that you have already bought.

Diablo 2 is the second game in the Diablo series from Blizzard. Diablo 2 follows the storyline of the "hero" from the first game that banished Diablo. In the second game you are a hero that must find this Dark Stranger because everywhere he goes there is destruction.

You get numerous classes, three tech trees for specking out your character, and tonnes of weapons to choose from.

This game provides hours of entertainment both off and online.

This is a great "D&D" type of game. I had a copy several years ago but broke the CD needed to play it so this was a replacement for it. 5 stars for the game - loses a couple only because it has been out for several years (6 or so?) If you can get it cheap - then get it.

Hands down, this is probally one of my favorite computer games. RPG & tons of killing, need I say more. You are one person against the lords of hell and their millions of minions. Your can choose for multiple heros and pay for the services of another lesser warrior. Graphics during game play aren't amazing but for that size of a game there no complaints for what they did manage to fit in. You beat it in normal, you get to go to hell difficutly which is unbelievable. Have fun, if you purchase this game you will surely like it.

As an older gamer, I can navagate and conquer this game, but it takes patience and time. An adult game with lots of action.

I bought Diablo 2 because I loved it when a friend of mine let me play it. I like pretty much everything about the game. Especially how you need to prepare and stragize to complete your quests. I would strongly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys role playing adventure games.

This game is so much fun with so many options. My husband and I spend lots of time playing this game. Well worth every penny spent. Would highly recommend to others.

I have watched Diabo grow in it's various incarnations, and the only thing I can say is: I wish there were more! There are endless variations, the game constantly evolves as the characters grow and learn. NOT for children, there is lots of gore. But remember, it IS good vs evil, and if you play right, good always wins!

This was a gift for my son who is in Iraq with the Army. He requested this for his laptop computer. He enjoys this during his down time.

Even though this game is 6+ years old, it is still quite a fun game. It features the ability to play with 7 additional players simultaneously to complete quests and defeat different bosses. It also has 3 different difficulties; Normal, Nightmare & Hell.

Normal is as it states, very normal and easy. Most players leave the normal difficulty around level 30-40.

Nightmare is when things start to get difficult although not impossible. You begin to encounter immune monsters. Level 60-70 is the ideal level to leave Nightmare.

Hell is when hell begins :) Nearly every monster is immune to one or more elements. If you do not have someone helping you, or have halfway decent gear, Hell can be almost near impossible.

However, once you beat the game a few times. It begins to get old very quickly. You will soon find that you can easily defeat Diablo by yourself with no problem. Once this is true, there isn't a whole lot more you can do besides try to collect every elite unique item in the game.

like the online experience. The multiplayer is great, good story line and being able to play with my friends while i smite the evil out of the world is pretty cool.

Let me get this off my chest to start. One of the main reasons this game got some bad press from some people was because it was a far cry from being the traditional RPG. Well, that's because it's not the traditional RPG. It's more of a subclass of RPG's, that can only be called the "Hack 'n Slash" genre. There is nothing wrong with this genre, especially if you prefer action-oriented games. Just stop comparing this to games like Baldur's Gate. They are too different to be compared. Now that that's over with, on with the review. This game gives you a choice between 5 character classes: Barbarian, Necromancer, Paladin, Sorceress, and Amazon. Each class has it's own strengths and weaknesses. They are all very playable. The game consists of 4 "acts" with 6 "quests" each. There is not much in the way of story building, but that is because of its genre. Graphically, it doesn't look very up to date. After all, it runs in 640x480 resolution. That's pretty low by today's standards. Some of the effects are very nice though, and the stages have a grim and dark atmosphere about them. The sound is excellent, with great music and some nice voice acting. The gameplay is mostly point-and-click, which makes it easy for the greenest newbie to play. However, many gamers might find the gameplay too repetitive, with too much "Point-Click-Kill" gameplay. However, there is a strange addiction that catches people who let it. Suddenly, you have this urge to keep playing, just to get the next magic item or experience level. Before you know it, you will have been playing for hours!
This game has an excellent multiplayer mode as well, where 8 players can play through the game together. Overall, this game is worth getting, even if it is repetitive. Blizzard has done it again.

Definitively Blizzard is one of the best computer game makers of all history, when they launch a Game, they do not hesitate to expend millons on dollars in support, patches, and servers. This game in particular let you play online with other players for free. It has been more then 5 years since they game have been launched and blizzard continue tu give support and to maintain the servers for the game, in fact blizzard continue enchancing the game and making patches with more weapons and montsers.

A Must Have for everyone that likes RPG or Masive Multiplayer Games.
