genre defining rock/rap, 8 songs that are truly great. other songs on the album are good according to your tastes. this album is outside the norms of traditional rock or rap music! if you end up enjoying this album, try you tubing stemm-monster,once you get used to it the album is awsome.or try nonpoint-in the air tonight.

Devil without a cause. Kid RockI liked the CD, it has a number of songs that I really enjoy! I especially liked the fact I was able to get it at such a low price. I couldn't have downloaded the MP3's for that! Now I have the CD I can do with what I want. I could resell it for more than I initially payed.

A CLASSICALL AROUND GREAT DEBUT ALBUM. KID ROCK SHOWS HIS VERSATILITY FROM RAP TO ROCK TO EVEN THE COUNTRY THING. THE LISTENER WILL NEVER GET BORED. GOOD MUSIC, I'D SAY "KIDS" FINEST WORK TO DATE.

This CD posesses some of Kid Rock's best material yet. Absolutely astoninshing performance that any Kid Rock fan should have. As this was the last real effort of the true-artist Kid Rock, he put all he could into finally making his name out of Detroit. Amazing record that possesses the last of the true-artist, no-sellout qualities of the early Kid Rock.

I purchased this album ... again. After my CD case was stolen, I went through the list of what I had and said..ok, what do I really miss. My devil without a cause cd was one of the ones I knew I had to replace. From the well known Cowboy to non-radio played tracks, this album still rocks.

Devil without a cause is Kid Rock at his very best. His unique blend of rock and rap made him one of the biggest things to Detroit in quite a while. I actually know this entire album word for word. With sales of over 7 million and maybe 8 you don't what to be left out. This cd is one of the ten things I would choose if stranded on an island. YOU NEED THIS.

Devil Without A Cause - Kid RockI bought this for just (1) song - (Only God Knows Why) couldn't seem to find it anywhere else - too much swearing in the rest of it - I love Hank, Jr. and since Kid Rock & he teamed up on a crossroads tv special - I now love Kid Rock too. (not the swearing rap stuff though)- I think he has a unique voice and when he does slower more meaning songs like (Picture/w Cheryl Crow) he is awesome - My husband & I are entertainers our selves and we actually recorded Picture together on our home recording studio - Anyway this is why I bought this CD. For those who don't realize it, Kid Rock, the self proclaimed "Pimp Of The Nation", has been around since 1990. His debut "Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast" was straight out rap, most famous for "Yodelin' In The Valley", which was taken off radio because of extreme vulgarity. His second, "The Polyfuze Method", took a bit more of a rap-rock approach, with rap still being the primary musical style. I bought the unedited version of this CD. I bought it for track number 2 COWBOY. Needless to say I fell in love with this cd once I actually listened to it. I had heard track number 1 BAWITDABA before but never had a clue who sang it. I just assumed it was some really, really heavy metal group or something.
