I bought this Cd for my husbands birthday because he loves BB King. The CD is great, he loves it, great collaberations with the songs. I am so glad I bought it!

Pros: Great to hear people singing the blues you don't usually consider blues artists.
Cons: The rap songs makes me ill...BB is so out of place.
Here is another fine example of BB King and what he can do with some of the world's most talented musicians. This is an all-star CD that will appeal to blues fans and the rest of music-loving world. "If You Love Me" (5:48) Van Morrison singing the blues is a treat. He wrote this tune and is joined by BB's guitar 'Lucille' (no vocals by BB) and a string section. "The Thrill is Gone" (5:00) Tracy Chapman joins BB King singing a duet that send shivers down my spine. Chapman's vocals lend a contemporary feel to a classic BB song. This is one of the best blues CD I've heard in a long time. Taking the old classical songs and bringing in current blues stars this shows why King is at the top of his game. An awesome list of artists brings this CD to it's point. A point that is so well none and accomplished that know one can beat it. The standing point of this CD is the thrill is gone.
