Dell UltraSharp 1800FP (Gray) 18.1 inch LCD Monitor

i brought this dell monitor. it was a good deal. i love it. good coloring and its like new to me. i was wanting a flat monitor and i would buy it over again. thanks

Excellent Monitor. Sharp Picture and very durable. Use these exclusivly for student computers in a Christian school. No problems even though most units are several years old

On paper, the 1800FP isn't all that impressive. In fact, compared to the competition, it ranks in the lower percentile... in terms of specifications. But of course, specifications don't account for everything. The Dell 1800FP's main knocks are that it has a response time of 25ms. It also has a rather low contrast ratio as well as average image brightness.

It's saving grace however is when the monitor is in actual use. I compared it to several other LCDs, including a Viewsonic and an NEC, and the Dell was actually much more pleasant to use.

Dell UltraSharp 1800FP (Gray) 18.1 inch LCD Monitor is the second worst item I have purchased on ebay. The condition was much worst than stated and it was not clear about a monitor with no stand. This was the secound worst item on ebay.

Very crisp color, nice reaction time.
Nice platform for the bussiness / industrial setting.
The price was right at $150.00 shipping included.

I bought this monitor on e-Bay 2 weeks ago and I really did not know much about this monitor but I do know that Dell makes a great product I have 2 tabletop computers and 1 laptop and a Dell LCD T.V. and they are all great. I know that the new Dell products are good but this one is a older one 5 or 6 years old and this monitor is all most as good as the new ones I just love it I am so happy I won it. If anybody else is looking to get one don't worry about it being 5 or 6 years old you will be happy. It is a SUPER MONITOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dell Ultra Sharp 1800FP is simply the original lcd workhourse for Dell. Dell had put so much research and funding into its developement that few lcd monitors can compare even today. When you consider it was priced at $500 not long ago and in looking at todays prices it is just a outstanding value.Day in and day out PC users claim the fame to this model saying"I will never upgrade or get rid of this model" My pic as well as millions of other users highly reccomendths model.
