Aside from the package showing up days later and seller failing to respond to 3 emails about the delivery, package arrived damaged. The UPS driver and I decided I sould refuse the package.
Upon return to the seller, seller insisted entire thing was my fault and has refused to refund the full amount I paid.
The printer is better than the current one that I have due to the fact that waiting for one or more pages can be a pain. Also, I believed that laser printers worked better than inkjet printers. The reason for buying the printer is that these days that stores such as Circuit City and Dell wants more money than your average price for a printer. It's not about money, it's about productivity and knowledge of the customer.
I really like this printer. It really does print pretty fast however I would have prefer a faster printer. It is great for a college student with a full class load or a really small office with light printing. Ink is very affordable. Great Buy...
deliver on time , great conditions as it explained on sale page satisfactory purchase.great store to work with they answered my emails on time and according to my purachase and delivery date .i will defenetly will take a look before i purchase somewhere else to this store page and see if they have the items that im looking for
This printer is a basic Black and White machine. With no fancy bells or whistles there is relatively little maintenance. The toner cartridges are cheap on ebay (generic or genuine dell). I can print thousands of shipping labels very quickly and cheaply with this basic printer. Suitable for all you black and white needs!
We used this for 5 months at the store, and it worked great! When business picked up, we needed a bigger one though. It is perfect for people who do smaller amounts of printing, but still want high quality results.
Good: It's a real laser printer in the $100 price range instead of the usual $139-$160. The print speed is faster than what I've come to expect from personal laser printers lately. The Dell 1100 also delivers good quality text and surprisingly sharp graphics. Not-So-Hot: The "included" toner cartridge will get you about a thousand pages. And evidently "Personal Laser Printer" means the paper tray maxes out at about 1/3 of a ream instead of the normal 500-750 sheets. Overall: Perfect for the home office with one or two PCs.

Pros: Will not break the bank. Provide great text. Looks good.
Cons: Toner is expensive.
It is small and inexpensive. Just what the Doctor ordered. It was easy to setup and the toner was a breeze to install. The results were very good. I did a picture and the results were surprising. It is well worth getting.

Pros: Inexpensive...fairly quick once it warms up...excellent quality print...neat toner level icon..
Cons: Toner only available from Dell.
I was looking to replace an older Brother multi-function, and was ordering a new Dell computer, they were practically giving away the 1100 printer..So for approx $59 I decided to take a chance even though I didn't like the idea of toner only being available from Dell. I have had this printer for approx 2 months and have been happy with it so far.

NOT RECOMMENDED

Pros: light weight
Cons: No reliability, and Dell does not stand behind it.
Cartridge never worked properly; text fades toward left and right side of page. Warranty is only for 3 mos., although on the invoice it appears to be 1 year. I have never seen a company with such a long legal disclaimer. Customer service has been inept.
