Dell E228WFP (Black) Monitor

I got a expensive monitor with 18 pixels dead in arrival! A total nightmare to deal with. It cost me another $43.00 to sent it back and i got back another with only 4 dead pixel.
You probably say "what so bad about 4 dead pixels ?" I will probably agree with you if they are not green all the time and smack in the middle of the screen! I will not buy Dell again!

good price and good product, thinking about buying another for my other computer because of BIG viewing area of screen.

this is an excellent monitor for the money ! compared to all exacting model's available , if your looking to invest in a good lcd monitor, definately look at this one !!

If you're looking for an excellent value priced monitor - this is it!
From set up to using the monitor - very easy. I'm just using the analog VGA cable and the experience is still very good. I'm probably partly influenced by the fact that I went from a 15" to a 22". But still, for the price (I paid just over $200 with free shipping) you just cant beat the performance of this monitor. The sleek looks of the monitor and stand are decent too.

This is the second one i've purchased on e-bay, and it's like having a command and control center on my desk. Ample room for video editing, and i can have tons of windows open at one time without losing track of what it is i was working on. I'm running both monitors at full digital resolution, 32 bit color, using an NVidia GeForce 7900 GT/GTO card and they work beautifully!

This is a quality Flat Panel Monitor. It is superb at the highest resolutions, not as good at lower resolutions (with my NVidia GeForce4 MX 420 Card, with your card probably different performance)

I bought it because I love my Dell Monitor at work, a 24" Flat Monitor which is simply incomparable. Recommend this product if you're looking for a reasonably priced workstation quality Flat Monitor and enjoy high resolution.

I've desided to buy this monitor to use it for gaming and browsing. It's really nice monitor with cheap price. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have USB and Card readers. :( If you would like a better quality and clearity, I would advise you to spend more money and get a better one ^_^.

I purchased a new Dell Monitor from an individual to save a few dollars not knowing it would not be warrantied by Dell. I assumed a new monitor in an unopened box would be warrantied by Dell as long as I could provide them with a model and serial number. The monitor has a dead pixel and Dell will not replace it. The reason per Dell is that the computer and monitor both have the same service tag number from Dell and the two cannot be separated and still both be covered by the warranty. I did not get a service tag number from the seller so my only choice was to purchase 3rd party warranty policy when I purchased the monitor. If I would have done so then the monitor would have costs me more than if I had purchased it directly from Dell. Now I have a monitor with a dead pixel and no warranty to get it repaired.

Ok this monitor is by far one of the best I have ever used. Beautiful display once you play with the settins and set it up for Vivid Photo, AMAZING quality. Of course this is going to vary on your video card what settings you will have this set at. Overall, pretty, lightweight and very sexy!

I bought the LCD 3 weeks ago It has a 22 wide screen Dell, Overall, I'd recommend the LCD if you're on a budget.
It is good Condition No problem.

Like: Size, clarity, weight, looks and function.

Dislike: It seems difficult to get the colors adjusted right. Some colors appear very accurate while others are not.

I love my 22" widescreen/flatscreen monitor ! this thing get's the most incredible picture I have ever seen with vivid colors and supersharp images. I purchaced it new and in the box and couldn't be happier .It also takes up way less room then my old 15" monitor I have a lot more workspace now then I did with the smaller monitor .If I had it to do again I would definatly re-purchace this exact monitor.

I wanted to get rid of my bulky 19" crt monitor, so I chose this 22" flat panel. I am thrilled with with my choice. Just plugged it in, turned it on, and a big, beautiful picture. No fine tuning, no tweeking, auto-adjust did everything. The widescreen allows you to view a whole new experience. View multiple pages at once, full size, and watching dvd's is incredible. Excellant monitor.

This is a great monitor for the money. I've have two of them and have had no reliability issues thus far (~3 months.) However, I find myself wishing it would operate in higher resolutions.
