Dell 922 InkJet Printer

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Dell 922 All_in-One InkJet printer, i have used several types of printers/scanners, and some were good, some not so good, I have friend who love Dell, so I decided to give it a shot, When it arrived, I immediately hooked it up,it was very easy and I had it hooked up, ink in, and ready to go in under 10 minutes, I first tried the copier part, worked beautifully and FAST! ThenI scanned a photo to a friend, which i also scanned it to myself so I could see how it came out, It was beyond my expectations, so the big test was printing a photo from my digital camera, as I do alot of photography.It has alot of features that you can set up, size of photo, type of paper, border, or borderless, quick print, best quality print, make my own post cards,birthday cards, etc, My photos came out flawless. When I decorate my home, along with my family photos, I like to incorporate some of my own photography of people and landscapes, The landscapes came out great, the green of the trees, blue ocean, and flowers were TRUE colors, and the portraits I did , the flesh tones came out just the way they were supposed to, You dont get that with alot of printers, so all in all I am extremely happy with this Dell product, and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Well first off there is nowhere to get a combo printer-scanner-fax for this kinda money. It's small enough and lightweight...and looks good too. IT'S A GOOD PRINTER FOR ALMOST NOTHING.

a good value for the money as a spare printer to use as a portable. Should be a good unit for laptop companion on travel trips where a printer is needed.

I purchase this printer to connect to my laptop. I haven't used it yet but it is in excellent condition.

A friend bid on item for me since I was new to E-Bay. Didn't read the information on the item - only the price and shipping.
Therefore didn't see that there weren't any ink cartridges with the printer. I still don't have any and don't know if it even works. I also felt that the shipping cost of $35 was pretty high.
Next time I bid on an item I will be sure to check the description FULLY before bidding!!!

I NEEDED A PRINTER AND I GOT AN ALL IN ONE FOR A GREAT DEAL! I SAVED ALOT OF CASH BY USEING EBAY. WOW!

I am usally leary about defurbished items. I am pleasanty please with the printer and will use vendor again.

I have 3 of these Dell printers - unlike others they are TRULY Plug-n-play, excellent quality printing and scanning. The one thing to be aware of - if you buy your ink cartridges from anyone but DELL it will always warn you that your ink is low. Dell has somehow made the printers to do that. Just click past the warning message and keep printing until YOU see that the ink is low and the print quality has diminished, then change your cartridge. The DELL in one center that you download as part of the drivers is very user frindly and offers a lot of options.

I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT PRINTING. Called Dell and they helped, but still having problems.I'm due ink so I'll try again when i get new ink.If that does'nt work then I'll can again. I can't write 100 words about o problem. Wanda

The seller listed that the printer was compatible with a Mac. It is not. I was very unhappy with the transaction.

I took a chance based on this seller's overall positive feedback for this used printer. Since most of the purchase price is in the non-refundable shipping and handling, the less-than-one-month life span of the product leaves me frustrated. I understand I agree to the seller's terms by making the purchase when other alternatives exist. Now, they have my money, and I have an item heading to the recycling center after printing about 100 pages. A $35.15 error on my part, to be sure.

dell is a great brand. i got the shipment quickly ..packed in its original packaging container.
i am using it and it works find.
i bought ink cartridges and had it up and running in no time.

so i would give it a good to excellent rating.

the product was refirbished in working condition.

Hi, the so-called "new" printer comes without the original packing, the manuals are old, it's an used printer! I sent 2 emails asking for the power cord with the connection between the printer and the computer. So, got one answer from you. To answer your question, there are NO Power cord, no connection cable. So, pls send me these 2 things, I can't use the printer yet!!!

a was looking for a all in one printer.
i don't like the resolution of the copies,i takes to long to print. the fax is based on software requiring a fax modem on computer.
replacement cartridge are not that expensive

I bought this printer as I had one with same model and loved it. I like it very much as it is small enough to take to work site and use.

The printer dell sent with its computer didn't even work so they sent this as a replacement. The ink is VEEERRRY expensive, and 2 out of the 4 high yield replacement cartridges i purchased from dell for about $100 malfunctioned halfway through, they sent replacements. Maybe a month later the printer claims paper jam and will not print. Dell support for this matter was a joke... telling me to try turning it on and off, did you check to see if paper is jammed? etc.... finally his last bit of advice "turn it upside down and shake it real hard." Well that would be great advice if i had a piece of bread stuck in my toaster. He said that they would replace it then hung up on me. I spent the rest of the day on the phone trying to get someone to send me a replacement, after many hours the supervisor said the guy was wrong and that they will not replace it. I'm now sitting on a broken printer and $50 of ink. not to mention at least 5 hours completely wasted on the phone.

Here's the deal... for the price of ink replacement for the dell you could just buy another (non dell) brand new printer with ink.

I was over charged for shippinng. And when I asked about what kind of ink was needed they became very snotty and told me the ink did not come with the product and I knew that, I just asked what kind of ink it needed. The answer was two snotty emails. I still do not know if the product works because I am waiting for ink jets. No writen help about the product and using it.


The seller replaced the printed and it is great now...the new one is the 924 model and it is very nice, it does not scan as well as I wanted but printing is good.

WE LOVE THE PRINTER, WE GOT THE PACKAGE IN THE MAIL AND IN GOOD SHAPE. WE GOT IT IN A TIMEILY MANNER.WE JUST THANK YOU FOR WORKING WITH USE. SEE YA IN THE FUTURE.

I love this machine. It can scan, copy print, everything you need in one!! Best buy I've made in years!!

Not sure if product comes with it's CD-download form. Have had trouble with Dell getting it to scan. Would like more information and I have tried everything.

Scan quality is not up to expectations...grainy, over saturated image. Copy has the same results. Print function worked for approximately 2 weeks...after I ordered and received print cartridges. Paper feed has 1 roller located on one side which feeds the paper improperly.
I can buy a comparable all in one (Lexmark) at the local Wal-Mart for under $40 and it includes the print cartridges.
I will not purchase this printer again.

This a super fast printer with wonderful quality. Very pleased would recommend to anyone. Ink is inexpensive on ebay or you can have it refilled for cheap.
