I really enjoyed watching this movie. If you're a golfer, it's a must-see! The movie follows the classic underdog story, yet the hero finds himself, in the end.
A look at what the PGA players went through on the road. It was a pretty entertaining movie. I also had read John Daly's book and he has claimed to watch this movie over 50 times. We think he may have a lot in common with the star.
A must see for any golfer. Excellent movie, at times too much drama, but hence are movies. Very interesting look at the world's biggest unknown rock stars...professional golfers...complete with groupies, pressure, parties etc.
Golf-themed comedies don't come any better than this down and dirty laugh-fest. A non-PC, light-hearted look at the characters behind the scenes on the PGA tour. Jack Warden's portrayal of "Bad Hair" Wimberley steals the show. And what's wrong with full frontal female nudity and a liberal dose of the F-word? Just adds to the charm!
Anyone that has ever played competitive golf, even at the high school level, can relate to the characters in this movie. Randy Quaid has a good enough swing to have pulled this off. One of my top 5 sports movies.
I recently read an article about John Daly in which he said that he has viewed this, his favorite golf movie, over 50 times. Well, who was I to argue with Big John? So, I sought eBay's resources and am very satisfied with both the movie choice and the seller's integrity. Both are winners!
It was a great movie in its time about golf and I had always wanted to see it again for years. The acting was superb and the story line was good for a golf movie. It was well worthe the price I paid for it and I found the item to come exactly the way it was described.
