Accuracy is ALL in this NTSC VHS film. The acting is realistic as well as the props & story. This is THE submarine film to see! "Das Boot" definately belongs in the film library of a historian or militaria collector. Interesting WWII action movie about German sub (U-Boot) warfare, based on facts. Some original film footage is included. For the specialists: note that 2 versions were produced - 1 in English and 1 in German. Not recommended as a date movie and probably only older children (teens?) should watch this. This review is provided without knowing who the seller may be.
