WHAT I LIKE IS THE ALBUM ITSELF AND WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS THAT THE REMASTERED COPY OF THIS CD ACTUALLY SOUNDS BETTER THAN THE MFSL VERSION AND IT SEEMS TO HOLD TRUE TO ALL THE MFSL CDS THEY ARE HARD TO FIND AND SELL FOR LOTS OF MONEY BUT IF YOU ARE LISTENING TO THE MUSIC REMASTERED IS BANG FOR THE BUCK BIGTIME.

this was the flagship album of the pink floyd group.When your buying stereo gear from cheap to expensive stores still use this album to play thru their equipment.this album still sells after nearly 40 yrs.In my opinion their next album was even better "wish you were here" dedicated to the founder of the gr
oup Sid Barett.You either loved this group's sound or you hated it.But something must of went right because quality copies even the old vinyl's sell for big bucks today,especially if you find a mobile fidelity sound lab CD or LP in sealed new condition

This amazing CD is worth every penny. The high quality recording projects true details. The sounds effects are truly vivid. My favorite song in this album is "Time" which resembles the awakening of aging. The details are amazing that you can hear and feel the clarity of the highs. Two thumbs up for this true audiophile CD.

The MFSL Gold Disk CDs have dynamics and spatial imaging that can't be matched. Nowhere is that better proven than on this. If you haven't heard the MFSL Gold Disk version of this classic then you haven't heard it. There's that much of a difference. That also holds true for the MFSL Moody Blues CDs, and almost everything else MFSL had a hand in.

This is THE classic CD of one of the best Rock albums of all time.

This MFSL is the definitive Dark Side. Moody, atmospheric, the mix is bang on perfect. The guitars, vocals, lyrics are vintage classic rock and they've never sounded better. Moreso than any other cd release, this one restores the album to its full glory with a rich authentic mix. You can't go wrong. Get a copy!!!!

I bought it 15 years ago, and have loved it ever since.
I thought that since it was remastered they would have fixed the stretched out piano note at the end of "The great gig in the sky" :(

The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd has always been one of my favorites. Being able to get this on the MFSL gold series has made it even more a classic and great to listen to. All of the MFSL gold cds are no less than superb in sound production and quality. This hard to find gem is a welcome added piece to my collection.

Fabulous remastering of the all-time best-selling Pink Floyd album. Highs are crisp and clean, lows are solid and thunderous. If you don't have it on Gold, you don't know what you're missing!

Simply one of the best albums created. Ever. A concept album that has the underlieing message to live life to its fullest without letting it go by so quickly that you seem to have lived in vain. It's a must for anybody who likes any form of rock.

When it comes to sound quality it doesn't get better than this. If your a Pink Floyd fan you will find yourself amazed at the supurb sound and clarity! Way better than a regular recording!!

this cd never fails to impress me, the dynamics are awesome. the quiet passages are super quiet, and the loud ones knock back in your seat.
