This book narrates the story of Conrad Wroth and Neomi Laress.Neomi was a ballerina in early 1920's that was murdered by her jealous lover, and her spirit remained trapped inside her favorite house.Conrad Wroth is the third in line of the Wroth brothers and like Sebastian from "no rest for the wicked"didn't take the change from human to vampire well.He became the phycko of the family and the only one that drunk straight from the vain. The memories of his victims kept piling in him and he was living in a constant world of delusions. So the rest of the brothers capture him and seclude him in Neomi's house where she is a spirit. His brothers are trying to make him back to normal(i mean not drinking from the vain and be a good guy) but he fights them all the time. And there is where Neomi intrudes. The only person that can see her and speak to her is Murdoch. And there the romance begins. My opinion? Not her best one.the patern is the same.Hot sex scenes, tension and a beautifull written book with intresting dialogues. But something is missing. Murdoch is crazed and behaves badly but he redems really eraly in the book wich in my opinion could last a little bit longer. Also i had a thing with Neomi. Before she became a ballerina, she was an "exotic dancer".You know that in 1920's,rarelly that ment only dancing.I don't mean that she was a "working girl" but she had patrons. So far so good.It is the reallity from back then and very well put.But... she is too trashy for my tastes. She likes sex,she doesn't have any problem with her body. But i don't know how to exress it better. She's not sexy ,she is trassy. The way that she lures Murdoch every time,i'm under the expression that it is cheap. I don't mind blund sexuallity. But this is just to much. But otherwirse, the book is really good and really enjoyable
