Darby O'Gill and the Little People (2004, DVD)

I bought this film for my son who says that it's just not St. Patrick's Day unless he watches this movie. He gave this movie a nostalgic thumbs up.

I have always loved this movie. It is classic Disney at it's best. A mix of magic and music that is just a great family movie especially around Halloween or St. Patrick's Day.

I bought this so we could show it at our monthly movie gathering. Since it was in March, the Irish theme was appropriate. It's a delightful film with fun and conflict. Some in our group had never seen it before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sean Connery was such a heart throb to see at a young age and the leprechaun king and Darby characters were so well done.

Great story ... great acting ... great music ... FUN! I saw it as a child and still love it as an adult.

Clean family fun; parts may scare young ones. Overall a great film for a family night even older ones enjoy the old scenes. Great imagination and the “little people” are great to have sport with. ENJOY!

we had this video when i was a child and watched it every st patricks day. so when the old vhs finally bit the dust i sought out the dvd, the extras included are fantastic. well worth the purchase price.

it is an old movie i watch as a teenager many years ago.it really looks good on dvd.thank you very much,it took me back to pleasent time in my past.

I watched this movie years ago and it has always been a favorite of mine. The fantasy of of fairies and pots of gold and the way they are brought to life in this delightful movie is wonderful. For a pleasant and enjoyable hours it is a must see.

I have loved this movie since I was a child. In May of 07 we had a house fire and lost everything for the last 32 years including this movie. I just had to replace it. Thank you very much.

No Disney collection is complete without this classic!! I grew up watching it and my family just loves it!

I love this dvd. Its in excellent condition. I wanted to buy this dvd but i could never find it until I came on ebay. I remember this movie from childhood and every St. Patricks day spent with my family. I could never find it in stores. So thanks.

Watch the special effects feature before you view the DVD. This movie was a landmark production in terms of special effects. Many of the techniques developed literally changed the movie making industry.

Fun and lighthearted, this film is sure to delight families and movie lovers alike. A young Sean Connery is also a treat.

The product was brand new still in it's package and not at all damaged. It was exactly as the seller described it and I was very happy about that.

My wife and I remembered this movie from when we were children. It was as delightful as we remembered. I was very happy that the DVD quality was great, as good as any new film.

Wanted this movie for our Sean Connery Collection and makes a great addition to our "G" rated movies for Grandkids

I grew up watching this movie. it was one of my favorites. One day my boy friend and i were talking and he said that he had never seen it... of course i had to buy it. As an irish american it brings me back to my roots and grandparents the old stories of the town locals and the winds of the hills...

This movie is a fabulous trip into the world of the Irish and the "Little People", the leprechauns, as the tale winds around an old man's, Darby O'Gill, attempts to provide everything for his daughter he can. An early glimpse at Sean Connery, before James Bond 007, as the young hire to the Landlord set to replace Darby in his job as caretaker of the land. Wonderful, carefree and happy tunes throughout the film leave you wishing to take a trip to the emerald isle to look for the leprechauns yourself. GREAT for ALL ages. The kids should love it. Action, romance, spooks and magic. What more could you ask for??

I bought the movie Darby O'Gill and the Little People, it was great a classic movie . I remember watching it with my father before he died. So I was wanted to get some of those memories back, but the shipping was a little much.

I found this while looking for some summer movies for the boys I babysit for this summer. I saw this classic Disney movie and remembered it from my own childhood and had to have it, so I bid on it till I got it. I love this movie.

My daugher loves the movie Darby O'Gill and the Little People. She wanted to add it to our movie collection. The DVD arrived still packaged in plastic. The DVD was brand new and works wonderfully. I am sure she will enjoy it for many years to come.This is a great family movie for anyone that loves Disney and magical movies.

What's not to like about this movie? Liked it as a kid, and it's a rush to see Sean Connery in his glorious younger years. An entertaining lovely Irish story.

Right around St. Patrick's Day, my husband looked for Darby O'Gill on TV. It's become his own tradition to watch it each year. Unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found. He didn't think that there was any way to find the movie in a video store, and figured that it was obsolete. I thought to myself, Ah, I'll find it for him on eBay! I looked for it, and there it was, in DVD no less! And at an excellent price, only $8.50. I placed an order, and it took several weeks to arrive. I wasn't happy with the length of time it took, but once it arrived, I was very satisfied with the packaging and the quality of the video. My husband was surprised that I was able to find it, and watched it that night (and numerous times since). The quality is perfect, and though the movie itself is not really my type of viewing, I do have a happy husband!
