Never knew that 'Love' could be this good

Pros:
Different to must 2 step R&B albums out there, superb and tasteful production, superb songs

Cons:
Overuse of samples, the PM/AM tracklisting doesnt always work, wack a** duet with Luther

Dangerously in Love arrived amidst the kind of hype that would be invoked only for the resurrection of Princess Diana from the dead. Was it justified...mostly so. Having had her precious Work It Out single from the Austin Powers Goldmember Soundtrack, easily the best thing of 2002 flop at radio, Beyonce returned to the studio to rethink her game plan carefully; she needed to court the favour of hip hop and leave the retro garble she had frequently anticipated would be her new direction. Somewhere it that warp the genius of Crazy In Love was born. Most listeners were unsure of how to receive...

Pros:
This girl can party, and she has the stars to help.

Cons:
The slow numbers are uninspiring.

When I was a kid, I used to love watching these amazing triple threats on the one o clock movie. You know, Debbie Reynolds, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Ann Margaret---ladies who could dance, sing and act. But somehow, as I grew older, these actresses became scarcer. There were so many almosts : Madonna, couldn t act; Whitney Houston, couldn t dance; Olivia Newton John, couldn t act; Barbra Streisand, couldn t dance; Michelle Pfeiffer, wouldn t record (remember the Fabulous Baker Boys?). So I ve been keeping watch, and recently, there have been hopefuls (Britney Spears is not included)....

  Proud To Be A Fan...

Pros:
Hot dance tracks, cool mid tempos, sweet slow jams!

Cons:
"A Gift From Virgo" is a snooze

Ever since Destiny's Child came out with "No, No, No", Beyonce has always been the "true star" of the group. I have been a HUGE fan of hers since then, and now with her CD, "Dangerously In Love", it makes me so proud to be a her fan. Whether you want scorching hot dance tracks, cool mid tempos, or nice sweet slow jams, you can find it here, in her CD. This CD starts off with the amazing, get off your butt and dance song, "Crazy In Love". Probably, the best dance song of 2003. She demands that you listen and you're happy to do as she says. This track with the fiery horns and her flirtatious...

Dangerously in Love, very Destiny Style

Pros:
Best song: Crazy in Love, it just rocks!

Cons:
Worst track: 03 Bonnie and Clyde. Just doesn't quite cut it.

Destiny's Child singer, Beyonce, flies solo in her first studio album. A mix of poppy dance tunes and pumping r'n'b, this is a brilliant album by a brilliant singer. If you like Destiny's Child, then you will love this album because it is very similar to the Destiny Style. Beyonce is having success on both sides of the atlantic with this album and its for the right reasons. The album has several fantastic tunes but there are the ones not everybody likes.

  Great CD!

Pros:
Greatly varied, will get you going on a mood, great voices.

Cons:
Probably more slow tracks than fast, a personal track that may/may not appeal.

This CD is both pumping and intriguing! This product was given to me as a gift, and quite thankfully! I love that it doesn't have just one good track, it has many in different styles. On tracks such as "Hip Hop Star", you can get your groove on, while there is a moral message in "Yes". This track is also upped by Missy Elliot. The album features Jay-Z and of course, Sean Paul as well, which both make for a seriously ear-soothing album!! Normally I listen to a CD and the good songs are so hard to point out, but with Beyonce's first solo album, I feel she did a wonderful job. I find myself...
