My 6 year old daughter got very frustated because the game did not give her the option to stop and save, she stopped one time and she had to start all over again. She was very dissapointed that when she tried to stop, the game did not provide with a way of saving it, or passwords to remember.
This was an excellent gaming choice for my 5 year old son. He loved the movie and the game followed along with it. The only drawback to the game, is we as parents find ourselves playing it after the little ones put it down.
I got this game for my nephews, 6 and 8 years old, and they loved it. I tried the game out myself as I do with all the games that I buy for them and sometimes for myself. The graphics was excellent, the colors are bold and vibrant, beautiful to look at. The way George the monkey moves is just sooo cute. Easy to control. He runs, jumps, swings, climbs & crawls! I enjoyed playing it myself. It is pretty easy with some challenges along the way. Once I had to ask my kid to pass a certain part for me! It is great for all ages. There are plenty of hard challenging games that perhaps you may never reach the end due to getting stuck. Not with this game.
My nephews finished the game and it gave them a sense of accomplishment. After playing George, going through obstacles, with some challenges, he felt good reaching the end.
It's a great buy and I'm glad I bought it. By the way it does have a save mode (password) where you can return where you left off. I give it an A!
My daughter begged for this game because she is into Curious George right now. I gave in, thinking it would be a waste of money & passing whim. I was wrong, My 9 year old has spent hours & hours playing this game & loves it!!
