Contra is a classic. You cannot beat its fantastic controls and gameplay. Contra is a staple of any classic game player. Its co-op is one of the best muliplayer game experiences ever. The sound, the visuals, and the gameplay make contra an extremely excellent choice for the fan of the action shooter.

If you do not know by now this is one of the best games of all time. That would be by arcade and or for the first gaming systems that paved the way (NES).What else can you say about it other than it is a must have in your collection. Fast paced action adventure game. Get It!!!

game was somewhat dirty and wouldnt play at first but after i took it apart and cleaned it very good it worked great........prolly will buy from again.

My son is very happy with this game, it's working perfect. He had this game when he was younger and moved up to the Play Station games, and for some reason he reverted back to the Nintendo games, he found the player at a garage sale, and has started to pick up more games for the variety I guess.

Fantastic old school game. One of my favorite NES games. Definitely in my top 10 of all time NES games.

This game is one of the best games ever made for the NES. And still one of the most famous games ever. With the dual play, non-stop action and creative boards, its no surprise why it lives on today. If there was one thing to knock about this game is the relatively small amount of time it takes to comeplete it (with the code of course).

However its still fun to play over and over! Relive your youth and go for it!!

this is one of my favorite nes games. there is lots of action, and many levels in this exciting game. another great thing is it's alot of fun to play with 2 players. highly recommended.

This is a classic and at 15$ shipped I couldn't be happier. Many enjoyed hours since it arrived. I even remembered the classic cheat code first try! Tons a fun to play 2 person.

This is definitely one of the Greatest Games ever made for the NES system... I first beat this game back in 1989 when I was about 11 years old... Now that I'm 29 I can't believe how short this game is.... You can actually beat it in under 45 min. I still play it...Specially when you get your self 30 lives after doing the all time classic secret code; up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select (if you have two players) start.

I love this game. I first played it back in 1989, at a younger age, with a whole crew of the best friends ever. ( You remember, the friends you grew up with, expecting to stick together, no matter what...)

I played the game endlessly and after months of re-occuring deaths, one day,"The code" emerged... I don't remember where we heard it, or how we got it, (Probably Nintendo Power Magazine)... uh-huh, you remember... we spent hours just playing, and playing, until we finally beat it!!!!

In short, I bought it to keep ahold of my past, to keep those memories alive, whenever I feel the need to play it... and yes, I STILL remember the code!

This is a great army game where you can play multiplayer. You basically blast your way through tons of levels, getting upgrades along the way. This is probably in the top 5 best NES games ever.

Where do you start on a game like Contra? This game is perfect. One of my all time favorites for the NES. If you haven't played it before, you owe it to yourself to try it. This one is truly a classic. (One of the few things that is embedded into my brain never to be forgotten in the Contra code: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, START). Wow.

The origional Contra was truly one of the great classics of all times. A great 1 or 2 player game where you work with eachother instead of against the other person. Some things are just ment to be a great game like Contra, Tetris, and Mike Tyson's Punch-out! This is one of them.

I love everything about this game and I always have. I decided to buy it because it is a very fun game and I had it once before and wanted it again.

I liked the game, because I played it as a kid. Having played it now brings me back to my childhood and remebering all the great times I had playing it, that is why I bought it.

The reason I bid on this item is because I had a very difficult time looking for this specific game. I figured I would try to find it on ebay and YES it was there. This is a fantastic game. 2 player action is great. Just be careful on the waterfall level, if you go up too fast you will kill your buddy. I used to play this game all the time. In fact, I got so good at the game I could beat it without dying once!!

If you don't have the original NES you can get a dual system called the FC TWIN. The FC TWIN plays NES and SNES games so you can now play all the old games!
