Pros: Some great songs
Cons: Nothing really special, and a few horrible tracks
During the early '90s, Tempe, AZ's Gin Blossoms made some of the best, straight ahead guitar pop of the decade, and got a string of hit singles off their album 'New Miserable Experience'. Hell, I'd still defend 'Found Out About You' as probably the closest the '90s ever came to the perfect pop song. Overlooked by everyone except for the critics who had to listen to it, though, was the fact that 'New Miserable Experience' just wasn't particularly good.
