Collision Course [PA] [Digipak] [ECD/CD & DVD] - Jay-Z (CD 2004)

Although there are only 6 songs on this CD (and I have yet to watch the DVD)...this CD was much better than I thought it would be. Although I am both a huge Jay-Z fan and even bigger LP fan, I just never thought their sounds would mesh...however, on the advice of a friend, I decided to give this album a shot. And I'd like to thank my friend J-red for that advice. Not only do the sounds fit together seemlessly, but in a few cases I enjoyed the remixes a little more than the originals from either artist (and that's not easy to say!) Enjoy this album and give it a chance. You'll thank me later!

This CD is good, but is definitely on the short side with only 6 tracks. However the bonus material from the in studio days is a good compliment to the CD and adds a lot to the overall length. This CD might not be for every Linkin Park fan, however, especially if you don’t care for rap, but if you do like rap, or are open minded about your musical tastes this CD is awesome.

I love Linkin Park and Jay-Z. This is the perfect combination of both. I've listened to it so much I can't remember whose song is whose anymore. The mixing is perfect (Mike Shenoda did an excellent job) and the dvd is really interesting too. You get to see Mike and Jay in the studio putting the final touches on the cd and kind of laughing about how awesome their music sounds together. It's really surprising. Their stuff isn't something I would've thought to put together but when you put Jay's rhymes with LP's music, it's a no brainer, and for me, that was the best part.

If you like LINKIN PARK, and a little bit of Urban Beat... you'll LOVE the Collision Course CD/DVD DigiPak!! The CD offers 6 GREAT songs and the DVD offers their Live Performance at the Roxy, as well as Behind-The-Scenes clips in the studio!!

BUY IT? Most Definitely!! You wont be disappointed!!

This CD offers GREAT SOUND QUALITY with very good bass, especially if you have a decent car audio system or even a good home system!!

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this CD/DVD!!!

I did not expect it to come so soon, however, I enjoy the cd so much. All the songs are cool. I decided to buy it because I love Jay-Z and I'm getting into Linkin Park. I thought it might be something different to listen to.

I liked the music but there are a ton of scratches on the cd's. What was with the other cd's? I don't like new found glory. Song's are great but can't play them without skipping.

it is so cool to hear two artist mixing their music and it is so coll to watch a big artist like that preforming in a small club.so great and down to earth

This is a great ablbum. Jay Z and Linkin Park do a great job of mixing their songs together into 1 great music experience
