Collins Gem Sas Survival Guide by John `Lofty' Wiseman (2006)

I have studied survival a long time and this is the best and handiest little book I have ever had. The book is small enough that you can carry it in a day pack or just stick it in your pocket plus this guy had to know how to survive in his line of work so it is accurate information.

You could not ask for a more thorough, and complete survival guide!!! This book has it all, and then some. Just owning this book makes me confident in any trip or adventure I might take. A must have for anyone who enjoys the outdoors!

Just like the big version but it fits in your pocket. If you ever needed it you'd be pleased to have it. Good to read in the tent as well.

Great book to have if the SHTF. It is a pocket size book, small and light weight. Covers fire making, how to find food, first aid, building shelter. Everyone should have one in their survival bag.

This is a very good book for the very advanced to the very basic wilderness go'er! There is a lot of good information packed into this little field guide and because it is little, it can be packed almost anywhere and taken with you to the field.

This book is tiny in size but huge in information. Make sure you don't just read it, get prepared and make the kits that are recommended. With the info from this book and preparation, you can get through about anything.

this is an excellent survival manual with color pictures of edible and poisonous plants. it is a convenient small size. i bought it for camping purposes and it will more than do the job!

I have read many Survival Books and used many of the ideas in them. Survival is a science as most will tell you. This was a good book and unlike some an easy read. I bought a compact edition that will live out a good part of its life in a backpack. I'd also recommend another book to anyone who liked this one. "Bushcraft Outdoor Skills and Wilderness Survival" by Mors Kochanski

Small package but very complete information. Printed on heavy duty water repellent paper which is great except would have preferred a lighter (less ounces) version for backpacking. Provided great reading for extra hours confined to tent while raining.

First of all I recieved this book in excellent condition never been used just as promised. second of the illustrations and explinations are easy to understand. the book is small enough to take on any type of trip it would almost fit in your back pocket.

I purchased this book FROM EBAY after I was already told by several bookstores that it was no longer in print.Fortunately ebay sellers are often more knowledgeable than sales clerks and i was ableto purchase a book that was supposed to be unavailable and i bought at below retail price so what is not to love about buying on ebay.
