I could not remember this story or if I had even seen it. I tried finding it as a rental at several different video stores and finally gave up and purchased a new copy from eBay. Even more than the storyline, I was surprised at the way the movie was expertly constructed with a variety of tempo changes that help move the story forward, yet let the viewer relax a little while getting there. -- Movies seem so hard hitting and overstuffed with non-stop turning points anymore that it is like watching a puzzle. Also, if you are over thirty, you can probably have a "Thank God I stopped wearing my hair like that!" moment while you watch it!

CocktailI had 160 dvd's stolen and I have been replacing them by buying them on Ebay because it is the easiest way to replace them. These are movies that I enjoy watching and I want to have them available when I want them.

I love this movie. I have been watching it for so many years, and was excited to see that it was on DVD. I love Tom Cruise in this movie. He may be insane now, but I prefer to think of him this way.

I don't like Tom Cruise. I will, however, watch a movie with him in it despite that. I liked his sultry nastiness in Interview with a Vampire, his sexy innocence in Risky Business, tolerated his James Bondness in Mission Impossible and accepted his cockiness in The Firm.
