Coach Carter is AMAZING, so worth BUYING!!
This is on the Movie Channel right now and it is one of those movies that I can never turn off once I start watching it.
A great cast headlines an incredible cinderella story. This is one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and it will still stir up emotions within.
Coach Carter was the highest opening weekend of any release from an MTV Film, and for good reason, it's amazing.
Samuel L. Jackson is amazing as Coach Ken Carter and young stars Rob Brown, Ashanti, Channing Tatum, Robert Ri'chard, and Rick Gonzalez make up a superb supporting cast.
This is one of my all-time favorite sports film.

Rent or Buy?: Any sports fan must have this movie in their collection. If you have a heart, Coach Carter is for you!

Great Movie. It has great acting and keeps you tuned in to the story line. Great movie to add to your collection. Movie is sutible for entire family, especially families with young pre-teen boys. The world needs more Coach Carter around.

It usually takes me a while to watch a movie like Coach Carter but after hearing it grossed $23.6 million last weekend at the box office, I knew it was time for me to check it out. First there was Morgan Freeman, who delivered a riveting, Oscar-worthy performance as the pioneering principle Joe Clark in the theatrical classic, Lean on Me. Then there was Denzel Washington who followed that up with equal theatrical fervor and charisma, tackling a bias community s antiquated beliefs in the blockbuster film Remember the Titans. More often than not, true to life stories can bring a real sense of drama to the big screen. With Coach Carter, we have one such story that makes itself into quite a good film. MTV has really taken on a good script here, and made it into a very likable film about high school basketball. In this case, we are talking about Richmond, California, which is in need of a new basketball coach. The current one has decided that he wants to hang up his high-tops, after a few seasons that have been very rough on him.
