I grabbed this new Paula Deen cookbook the day it came out....she's a real sweetheart! This is definitely a Southern Christmas cookbook. Paula likes to be home surrounded by her family and friends during the holidays. I love her quote, "Never mess with the holidays. Always be with the people you love, as many of them as you can round up." The book is filled with not only recipes but her stories of past holidays. I will be doing the Praline French Toast Casserole for my breakfast buffet, along with other yummy treats from her book. Some of the recipes have been featured on her Food Network show and some are new. The Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie is one we love and I will include the Creme Fraiche Mashed Potatoes in our dinner menu. Paula includes all kinds of mouthwatering recipes from cocktail nibbles to desserts. Keep those recipes coming, Paula!

Fantastic cookbook by Paula Deen. This one is my favorite. It has the best down home recipes. This book is full of recipes for family and for entertaining friends.
Great recipes like Eggnog pudding, Twice Baked potato casserole with Shrimp, Mushroom & Sausage Quiche, Peanut Butter Brownie Cupcakes, Sour Cream Butter biscuits and Breakfast casserole and many more. There are 211 pages in this book.

If you like, well I should say LIKE or LOVE Paula Deen, this little book is one you do not want to miss. It is small in size but big on great recipes! This book has several of her tried and true taste tempting recipes and many new ones that will soon become your families favorites, not just during the holidays but any day during the year. If you follow Paula's program you know about her 2 sons... You will find many cute short stories from Paula about her sons, her mother and grandmother and what makes Christmas special for Paula. Not only is this little book full of great recopies it is a great read also. This book is not the same size as her usual cookbooks.. so when I say a little book I mean it is a "little book" but it is big on good taste!!!! If you are a Paula Deen fan or just want to get to know her.. this is a good book to start with or to add to your collection! I just bought the book about a month ago and it is not Christmas and I am already cooking many delightful dishes from the "little book"! I highly recomend this book along with all of Paulas cookbooks for the beginner cook or the more "seasoned" cook. Yall check out those other cookbooks!!!!

I love this book, it has wonderful recipies and personal stories from Paula and her family about their lives. It's comforting to read and a book to have on hand not just at Christmas either, lots of the recipies would be good any time of the year! I love Paula and this is great as usual!

I enjoyed the variety of recipes and felt it was a good book to purchase. There are some recipes that are better suited for our way of entertaining. It is a good Paula Deen book to acquire.

I like to watch Paula on the Food Net Work and wanted some of her recipes and some history of her life in the cooking profession. I really enjoy the cookbook and hope to find some of her other cookbooks in the near future. THANKS!!

I checked the book out from a public library. Loved it! Had to have my own copy. Great stories along with recipes.

The seller would not take paypal which I did not know until I had won the bid.
I sent them a person check like they said they would take. The letter was returned "Unable to deliver or refused". I looked the phone number and called and left a message on their machine and never heard back from them. Quite a BAD experience for my second purchase.

I love to watch Paula Deen and to hear stories about families. Paula actually gives recipes that average people can fix.

I saw Paula Dean, on QVC with this "Christmas with Paula Dean", cookbook.
I was imjpressed with it and the fact that the book included information on her family as well as pictures, along with her great recipes. It is real nice! I highly recommend it to family and friends.

She makes it so easy to understand. With most of the stuff you already have in your cubbard ,, I have all her books .. I want miss a one. You can bet it is what she fixes for her own family and sure what mine loves it is all down to earth cooking, for down home eating for just good old folks like us. Kick your shoes off come on in, but feel like you have been crowned King of that big castle. I is hard for me to get a cook book that we use 75% to 85% of the recipes. we haven gone wrong with her books.

My daughter and myself love this book. If you love to cook and spend time with family this is the book. Paula knows how to share her memories, thoughts and ideas. tyhe recipes are great. I would recommend this book to all. Mothers and daughters this a great bonding book.

My son-in-law had made the comment, all he wanted for Christmas was the Paula Dean Christmas cookbook. So, I decided to look on e-bay, found one and bought it. We had to travel about 3 hrs. to their house to exchange gifts. And wouldn't ya know...I had mistakenly left this gift at home. Everyone opened gifts and I honestly did not even realize that I had left the gift until the next day after I got home. I called my daughter and ask her if he had mentioned the cookbook. She said he didn't get one and he had been in a bad mood all day and that was probably the reason. They came to our house the next day and he was like a little kid when he realized he did get his Christmas gift after all!

Paula Deen is my favorite person on the food network. When I saw it on ebay I knew I just had to have it. When I won with my bid, I paid for my item. The seller quickly sent my purchase to me. The item was in mint condition and was wrapped very well for shipping. I love reading cook books and this will be added to my collection.

I absolutely love Paula Deen. I've enjoyed the other books she has written and her cookbooks. And since I love to cook, I use many of her recipes. My family and friends love the dishes I make using her recipes. So when this book came out, I just knew I wanted it. It was a no brainer for me. I would recommend it for anyone who likes Paula Deen or anyone who like to cook.

I bought it because a friend and a sister-in-law wanted it for Christmas. I did get a chance to flip through it, and it looked cute. Smaller than I'd expectetd, though. But cute. Since it wasn't my book, I didn't actually read it.

If you don't have this newest cookbook, then get it to add to your others...I think you to will be very satisfied....This is only my opinion, but I think your's will be the same...
