If you have ever attended a Chris Ledoux concert, you know exactly what I am talking about. One of the best entertainers out there over the years and one that will be missed. He connects with his audience and was the only true rodeo cowboy county singer in the history of country music. This concert at Bally's is special and is a great addition to the true Chris Ledoux collector. He will be missed for there will never be another like him. The most talented, under-appreciated country singer in the business because he refused to head south to Nashville but rather to stay up here in my home state of WY. God Bless Chris Ledoux!
We recently purchased a DVD Concert for a gift for a relative. I couldn't tell if it was brand new or not, which truly didn't matter, but I was pleased with the qualify of the product.
Really enjoyed this DVD. Has a good variety of Ledoux music as well as interviews by Chris himself. This is the first music DVD I've purchased and felt like I was in the crowd enjoying a live performance.
If you are a Chris LeDoux fan that did not have a chance to see him perform live, this is a good video for you. The quality of the production was not very good, and I felt that the producers should have included more insights into the origin of the songs, but the live footage was very good.
This is country, rodeo music at it's best by the master. Chris Ledoux only sings about what he knows and you could not find a better person to show you what the rodeo life is about. This has everything from rodeo songs to songs about love, working hard for a living, falling in love to anything else. It is great.
I bought this Dvd because MY Family and I are Cris Ledoux fans from way back> His music and concerts were always a good time so it is nice to have it. Plus e-bay makes it easy to find the things you want with out the trouble at local stores not having what you want.
I owned it on vhs, wore it out! thrilled it is on dvd, should by 2 with the rate I go thru them! We loved Chris Ledoux and miss him since he passed away March 2005. This video is of a live concert, but unlike most, you can hear him and the band very well, you dont get the roar of the crowd covering over the music. Truely well done! If you like traditional country, not the Dixie Chick crap, you will love this!
