Its keeps you wondering till the end who is the suspect, where as a few chapters were just a drag and could be easily missed.......it was good plot to keep you occupied enough to complete the book @ one go.
This was my first Sandra Brown book I'd ever read. It kept me in suspense throughout the entire book. It is one of my favorites now. I felt like I was in on the action myself. I will definitely be seeking more books by her soon!
she keeps you guessing till the end. she makes you think it might be someone close, then someone else just might be doing something more sinister. but you never really figure it our till the last 100-50 pages. great job sandra brown
I enjoyed the story, but the suspecting the hero all of the time would pull me out of the story. I also wish it would have wrapped up the charatures lives a little more, so I don't have to wonder. But still and enjoyable read.
I had the wonderful opportunity to read "Chill Factor" this past winter during a winter storm. PERFECT background, for a great read. If you are looking for a book to slip into your tote bag to read this summer (unfortunately you will have missed the great outside snow effects of nature!) pick up "Chill Factor". It is a fast paced book, that covers roughly a 72 hour period. As always, Sandra Brown delivers a great story! You will find eBay sellers with this little book, that will bring big thrills to some downtime you might have. Happy reading. Mystery Woman Enterprises.......
Yet again, another excellent book, I would highly recommend it – it’s a great read! This author has many really good books, especially in the thriller/mystery genre.
I am an avid reader of Sandra Brown's mystery books. She can sure weave a tale and keep you in suspense until the very end.I am not as impressed with her love writtings. I bought it because it was much cheaper then the retail price. Thanks.
Sandra Brown is a really good author and Chill Factor keeps you wondering up to the end. The title was and short synopsis induced me to buy. If you enjoy a mystery mixed with a love story you should really enjoy this book.
Five women have turned up missing in small town Cleary, North Carolina.
Lilly Martin is in Cleary, to close the cabin owned by her and her ex-husband. While heading off the mountain in a blizzard she spins out of control and hits a stranger, Ben Tierney. Because of the strength of the storm and his injuries they have not choice but to wait out the storm together in the cabin.
Ben has been in Cleary off and on for a while, but no one knows why. He is a man of mystery who has connections with the missing girls.
Will the FBI and local police be able to track down the kidnapper before it's too late for Lilly?
I'm fairly new to Sandra Brown's books, but I am an avid reader averaging 4 novels a week. This book was mostly enjoyable but at times I felt like I had to drag my way through. The good part about the book was that it had many "weird" characters who kept you guessing and guessing throughout the book. By the way, I LOVE that in novels. The other hard thing with this book for me was that I really get tired of reading books about people who get stranded together.
this book is like watching gingerdead man all over again starring Gary Bussey. Yes, it is that rediculious. Dont waste your time with this unless you really want to read the most horrifingly BAD book of all time....so bad its humerous. Funny that you aren't aloud to write a BAD review about something without getting a "no help" vote.
