I have read many James Patterson books, and although they aren't always my favorites, they are easy to read. As a busy mom, I don't find much time to read, but James Patterson's books are fairly easy to read in segments, as the books generally have tons of very short chapters as well as sections. I got this book at the library - but actually as part of their used books available for sale. However, this is such a popular author that it is pretty easy to find books by James Patterson. I remember two and a half years ago walking through my public library searching for a book to read. I had just finished Dead Koontz s Mr. Murder novel and was too bored to do any Stephen King reading, but since those were my favorite authors at the time I only wanted to read things by them.
