I enjoy reading and I enjoy James Patterson books. This was one I had not read.
The price was good and I received the book quickly. The book was also a hard back which enables me to save the book which I like to do.

I have been reading the Alex Cross series by James Patteson. This was the last one I needed to read. This story really had Cross working overtime. This is a great read for the susspence, cop readers.

I am crazy about the series of Alex Cross mysteries. From the time I saw the movie Kiss the Girls. I have purchased every book in the series in hardback so I can keep them. Excellent reading for anyone interested in this type of book. I really love a good book especially if it is in a series. It keeps the story line going for a while. I Would recommend these books to anyone. James Patterson is an excellent writer.

I read a book by James Patterson, and I fell in love with the action, and I work,so I sometimes have to put a book down in the middle of a chapter. With
the Patterson Books I can go back to the last chapter and because they are so short, I can remember where I left off easily. Also I love mystery's and he keep you on the edge of your chair with each chapter. I have almost read all of his books, just in the last year. I just really like his books. Thank You.

James Patterson's "Cat & Mouse" is One of His Best - Suspenseful and Chilling
Review created: 03/28/08
by: Javelina -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Suspenseful, vivid, chilling/disturbing, shocking twists, easy to read, character depth

Cons:
Sometimes the book felt like it was a bit too long

I have read many James Patterson books, and although they aren't always my favorites, they are easy to read. As a busy mom, I don't find much time to read, but James Patterson's books are fairly easy to read in segments, as the books generally have tons of very short chapters as well as sections. I got this book at the library - but actually as part of their used books available for sale. However, this is such a popular author that it is pretty easy to find books by James Patterson. This book was published in 2003 and is available in paperback and hardcover. Plot "A killer named Mr. Smith...

Like A Tom & Jerry Episode...
Review created: 02/27/04
by: JiggyJay -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
The return of a great villain, addictive, pages just fly by

Cons:
None

I remember two and a half years ago walking through my public library searching for a book to read. I had just finished Dead Koontz s Mr. Murder novel and was too bored to do any Stephen King reading, but since those were my favorite authors at the time I only wanted to read things by them. Sure, I tried to look at other authors. Tom Clancy was too militarily motivated. Ridley Pearson was difficult to get into. Grisham was too repetitive. What was I to do? There was a trip planned to go on some planes to Green Bay for my family reunion and I had no books to read until my eyes caught the eye...

Why is the cat afraid of the mouse?
Review created: 11/20/00
by: isinga -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
The usual: Patterson and Cross, together again....

Cons:
It scared me to see Alex so close to death.

Cats are usually predators, and mice are usually prey. This time, however, there is some confusion as to just exactly who is really the cat and who is the mouse. What's even more confusing is that it appears the cat is, down deep inside, afraid of the mouse no matter who it may be. Yes, as might be expected, this is another of James Patterson's Alex Cross novels. Patterson is a constant source of amazement (and even some degree of inspiration) in both his incredibly human characters, and his horrifyingly imaginative plots, and his relentlessly riveting style of writing. It's almost as if...

"Who is the Cat and Who is the Mouse?!?"
Review created: 05/19/00
by: Starrrynit -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Held my interest from beginning to end;

Cons:
Not a single one;

James Patterson has dazzled me again with another Alex Cross novel. Alex Cross is a psychologist/ homicide detective. He has the unique ability to get into the head of psychopathic killers and calculate their next move. As I read "Alex Cross" novels, I envision him as highly intelligent, suave, well-spoken, a perfectionist, and a darn good dresser. Dr. Alex Cross has two killers to contend with in the 1997 police detective thriller "Cat

  Cat and Mouse- KILLER BOOK!
Review created: 07/25/01
by: NoMattrWht -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Adventurous...Suspenseful...Great story, characters, plot, pace, etc.

Cons:
I have nothing to read now

"Cat and Mouse", another of thrill writer James Patterson's awesome, nail biting mystery novels, and the one I just finished a few minutes ago. Cat and Mouse is another in the Alex Cross chronicles. James Patterson has written 5 books using Doctor Detective Alex Cross as the main character.. in order they are 1. Along Came a Spider, 2.Kiss the Girls, 3. Jack and Jill, 4. Cat and Mouse, and 5. Pop Goes the Weasel. I did not read them in order, you don't really have to. Patterson will bring up past villians in each novel, but will also tell you who he is and briefly what he did, never assuming..
