I bought this movie out of nostalgia. I saw it years ago on t.v. and thought it was a great movie. It's a sweet movie with some heartache, but shows that love never dies. Of course, Shirley Jones and Gordon MacRae were some of the best vocalists during that era and the music is great!

the music older folk remember. Like a atage play more than anything, the sets.

) I have a favorite song from this musical called "You'll Never Walk Alone" so it is a favorite musical of mine along with the fact that it has both drama and a sad tragedy. It is an old musical but was very well done and I feel worth the time and money.
