Carlos Mencia - Not for the Easily Offended Live In San Jose (2005, DVD)

When I watched this DVD I was expecting a lot of fun,and indeed was excellent stand up performance,but, is not for you if you get easily offended, because he has stuff for everyone,if you have a big sense of humor, no doubt that he'll make you laugh from beggining to end. Recommended

This DVD is outstanding and very funny. However, as it states, it is not for the easily offended. His raw sense of Humor is like no other. Carlos Mencia is a first rate comic who pulls no punches. He tells it like it is in his eyes and is the one who says what everyone else is afraid to say about how they really feel. I own several of his DVD's and I feel he is Great and I would recomend his satire of comedy to anyone who is not easily offended and enjoys good Stand-up comedy.

I watched one of his stand-up acts just by chance now I want all of his DVDs. He is brutally honest about EVERYTHING...men, women, family memebers, etc.

This is one of the best stand-up comedians out there, not for the easily offended as he pulls no punches.

After that warning, I wasn't sure I would enjoy the DVD. Needless to say, Carlos is now and always will be my favorite standup...

I laughed my butt off... I continue to laugh my butt off... I've bought other DVD's of him, not quite as funny as this one, but he's still the man!

Definately worth watching, and if you ever get a chance to see him live! You better not pass it up!

This is one of the funniest DVDs I have purchased thus far. Mencia is on par with some of the greatest social comics in history. Great to watch!!!

Absolutely, hands down the funniest comedian/DVD I have ever seen! If YOU ARE easily offended, I would not watch this. Carlos tells it like it is...about EVERYONE & EVERYTHING! The way it should be. Highly recommend everyone with a sense of humor own a copy. You will get your monies worth watching it over & over again...don't stop there...show other people who haven't seen it or heard of Carlos! I ask everyone I know if they have seen it or heard of him, because they should watch it! I can't wait to see him live!

I chose to buy this because I have seen Carlos before and think he is an extremely talented and funny man. I think his stand up is sometimes more fun than his TV show. I like this DVD and will add it to my collection. Nothing much to say about this product other than it is great.

This video is hilarious!! It is true that you should not be easily offended. He makes fun of alot of different races and religions. But some of the races are his own....so you can't take things so seriously. My boyfriend and I are still talking about certain parts of this comedy show and laugh!! I definately highly recommend this and other Carlos Mencia comedy shows!!! He is my new favorite comedian!!

Other than the sometimes frequent and harsh use of vulgarities,(Then again, read the title!) this stand up is right on with todays issues regarding race, religious beliefs, and what people see and how people feel in society. No ethnic background is safe from the hilarious portrayal of idiosyncrasies of all! Carlos overall though, does tell his belief that people should be able to laugh at ones self, and each other, without literally being offended. Today people are too worried about being politically correct (PC). That in itself is lowering the standard of excellence for everyone including education and business. Urgency, logic, determination, achievement and success are all being pushed aside for personal feelings, political correctness, and setting a LOWER standard so everyone can feel they are a part of the same thing. A happier, kinder, funnier society should all be able to get along as one...as long as they are not...Da Da Duh!!!

I love comedy, so this dvd was the funniest I have seen in a long time. I think Mencia is one of the best comedians out there today. Some may find him a bit offensive, but all in the name of a good joke, he is right about a lot of the things he jokes about, and a lot of these things are true. I would definitely recommend this dvd to anyone who is up for a good laugh at a good price.

CARLOS MENCIA IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST PEOPLE ALIVE! People who get offended easily might not enjoy certain things he says, but I recommend everyone see this dvd. We got to see him live here in Redding, and we laughed so hard our stomaches hurt the following day. He jokes about race, religion, politics, anything that comes to mind... We own every DVD and CD he has out!!!!

I laughed so hard I think I pee'd just a little. I have had friends over to watch this with me & people were on the floor. Looking forward to his next DVD!

We thought this was a very funny comedian. He talks about different things that go on in our world today. Really Funny!

THis is hard to find, and I wanted it for my husband who loves carlos mencia and his hit show {Mind of Mencia} on Comedey Central. We are pleased.

This DVD was a gift to my husband from his very "upper class" sister and his "uptight" brother in law. Not knowing what to expect, she had merely dropped this gift when we weren't home, still wondering what was up with the "beaner, low rider" on the cover (I can say this, being a proud beaner myself) we ran it on my computer and proceeded to be glued to it. My very "white" husband and I laughed until our cheeks hurt! What was so amazing to me was the intelligence behind the humor. We have enjoyed this over and over with our adult kids and friends. Get rid of the children for the night, and be prepared to fall out of your chair laughing.

Carlos Mencia is one of the funniest people i have ever seen perform. This DVD is one of his best performances. If you like honest, in your face funny, this dvd is for you. From start to stop, you will laugh well beyond painful.

There are plenty of sexual, racial and just plain mean,(yet funny), comments throughout the entire performance. Unlike some of his other performances, this one is not as sexually explicit. There is plenty of racial comments and foul language, so this is definitely not for children.

The special features on this dvd are ok but a little boring at times, but the dvd is a must buy. But remember, this is "not for the easily offended". I dont think this is for the kind of hard to offend people either because like Carlos says, he's gonna say something to make everyone mad.

A Great Comedian, has a wonderful dialoge but some of the everyday words people use, he also uses. If you can get past that, you will really enjoy this man's comedy. It been a long time since a comedian has really made me laugh

Mencia is a funny guy who doesn't pull any punches. The language was really raw during the first few minutes but it got better.

Was a fathers day gift for my boyfriend, we LOVED it and all of our friends have borrowed it too. We had not been able to find it to rent, so I got on ebay to find it.
