The only part I appreciate about this album is the lyrics. Very deep, and powerful. I'm sure many can relate with much of what she sings. I'm just not that impressed with the music. I bought this CD because she has 2-3 songs that have played on the radio that I really enjoyed, but unfortunately, none were on this CD.
I like the way she speaks her own opinion in each and every one of her songs. I had this same cd when it was first released. I've moved around a lot since then and either lost or misplaced it. I was surprised to get a chance to buy it again since my small town doesn't sell cd's that are over a year old. They send it back to their warehouse for sell elsewhere. So I guess I owe ebay a big THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pink brings pop into the life of rhythm and blues. She sings with an informal feminist perspective. Pink's talent is her writing and her smokey rasp in song. Her lyrics are catchy and attractive.
My 15 year old daughter has this CD, I had to buy one for myself since I kept borrowing hers. I appreciate Pink's talant, she makes good music. This is a great CD to drive in the car with, to clean the house with, whatever. It just rocks. The songs have meaning, telling a story, the beat is good. Pink is very "real" with what she sings/writes about.
i like the cd because she sings about different things like love and life. i brought this cd because my old one didn't work and i like this cd very much.
My teenage daughter took Pink home and enjoyed the CD for several years. She now loads her songs on her MP3 player and enjoys them whenever she gets a chance. Some songs are better than others but it is a good one to try.

Pros: new blood to pop scene, original, talented
Cons: might get lost in the mix
Pink is a relatively new artist to come out in the music industry. This review is over her first album which technically came out in 1999, but did not become all that popular until 2000 and into 2001. The young artist is from Philadelphia, and actually started recording at the age of 14. She released her first single "Don't Stop" in 1998, which led up to this album coming out in 1999. Pink was discovered by BabyFace (Kenneth Edmonds) of LaFace Records. Babyface is a renowned artist in his own right, and has brought up the talents of the Tony Rich Project, Whitney Houston, and Toni Braxton. He.

Pros: Vocals, Songwriting, Some excellent songs
Cons: A bit overproduced
Back in the day before it became uncool to be Britney Spears and before it became trendy to become an introspective, insightful rocker chick - Pink was a certified R

P!NK - The Brightest Crayon in the Box?

Pros: Her voice, which shines on the ballads
Cons: Overproduction; occasionally boring and lame
There are a few things about an artist that can immediately intrigue young music consumers. A terrific voice. A great body. Wonderful dance moves. Over the past few years, though, it seems like the cool thing to do is marketing an artist as 'the anti-Britney'. Usually, when that phrase is mentioned, young Canadian songstress Avril Lavigne comes to mind. But what about Pink? Alecia Moore arrived on the scene in early 2000 with her infectious R

Pros: Some good R&B/pop production and better than normal lyrics for pop; I like P!nk s voice
Cons: Some production; P!nk s voice isn t right for this music; it isn t who P!nk really is
The Main Idea: I remember watching the now defunct BOX network one day when suddenly, this white girl with pink hair came on the screen and started singing a really catchy R
