Canon XL1 S

I am enjoying my Canon XL1 S, great buy...and seller was prompt with respoding to my questions as well as with shipping my merchandise.

This camera is by far among the best used professional cameras available outside the High Definition category. Hands on controls, flexibility with lens changes, controls over audio and screen formats, picture steadiness and editing options available make it a camera of a choice for both the novice and professionals alike.

I bought the Canon XL1 S camera for our church, to record our weekly broadcasts. The other 2 cameras are Sony PD170's. The Canon XL1 S is the "Cadillac" of the professional-consumer models. The motion stabilizer and automatic modes make it an excellent platform for handheld and shoulder-mount use. It's also got enough options for hanging it from a jib or crane. Video quality in all modes (automatic and manual) is excellent, broadcast quality, in multiple lighting conditions (even not optimal). The 16x zoom lens is removable for easy swap-out or replacement.

Overall this is the best camera we have! Probably overkill for what we do, but I would buy more if we had the money.

I always been fan of canon, and i already owned one so this purchase is for back up on upcoming film.
