I just made the step up to a digital SLR, a Canon 40D. I decided to go with a variety of lenses instead of the kit lens. My 3 current lenses are a Canon 50mm f/1.8, this 20mm f/2.8, and a Sigma 70-300mm zoom tele. Of the three lenses, the images from this 20mm blow away the others. Now, I figured a Canon prime would beat a Sigma Zoom tele, but even when you compare the 50mm prime to this lens there is a remarkable difference in clarity. I am extremely happy with this lens.

This lens is very sharp and the image is not distorted, fast focus, all around high end lens. No issues I've found yet and I'm a professional photograher since 1988. Recommended.

The lens was/is great! I really could not afford the NEW price
to add this lens to my equipment, but my eBay purchase was much more
doable. Thanks to EBay partners who are helping each other.
